We are recruiting for a Business Intelligence and Development Manager who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
You will be responsible for the provision of business intelligence systems to provide information and to support the decision making requirements of the Trust. You will be responsible for the development and design of critical, complex business intelligence information systems to support the business requirements of the Trust. You are also responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of business intelligence systems developed by the department.

To line manage one band 7 staff and ensure that work is assigned fairly, that deadlines are adhered to and development opportunities are identified.
To manage the timetable of work and the working hours of the team ensuring that there is suitable cover at all times.
Support and attend meetings with the stake holder. Gather development specifications and scope work with realistic deadlines.
Train and supervise junior staff and support their personal development goals.
Conduct recruitment, appraisals, performance management, welfare, grievance and disciplinary issues.
To develop the business intelligence systems on an on-going basis to ensure it meets the changing needs of the Trust.
To maintain, support, enhance and develop the business intelligence systems and associated technologies, dealing with any issues that may arise.
To conduct effective and timely analysis of system requirements and produce appropriate application solutions to meet the needs of customers.
To maintain and enhance existing applications to enable changing business processes.
Undertake new projects and provide maintenance support for the completed projects.
