We have a fantastic and interesting opportunity to join Santander as a Business Analyst within our Payment Centre of Excellence (PCoE), this team powers payments for Santander UK (Group).
As a team, PCoE, plays a key role in the successful development and delivery of Group's Payments strategy and future scalable payments platforms. We have a role to play both internally and externally to build outstanding customer payments propositions, as well as modernisation and moving the payments capabilities forward, against the industry and regulatory developments for the benefits of customers and our businesses.

The difference you'll make:

Delivering of key projects covering scope and quality within agreed timelines and managing the contributions of key stakeholders. Ensuring all governance requirements are met for those deliveries

Working with internal stakeholders to identify and understand business requirements and plan technical delivery

Bringing structure to the business request, translate requirements and lead complex projects through completion

Ensuring all controls are fully documented and operated correctly

Utilising good business knowledge with technical expertise to help the team turn sound business information into technical output

Using project management experience and knowledge to manage the timely delivery of projects across the business areas within the workstreams, with accurate reporting on status, scope and budget, and dependency management
What you'll bring:

Previous experience as a Business Analyst within a Payments environment
-
Experience of working with and implementing change projects
-
Experience of developing processes and procedures in regards to governance and change management principles

Exceptional stakeholder management skills, comfortable challenging, constructively and influencing stakeholders across all divisions of Santander

Proven diagnostic, problem solving and analytical skills
It would also be nice for you to have:

Able to build rapport with project stakeholders and demonstrate influencing skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Uses all available channels and mechanisms to effectively to communicate to all employees across the bank

Have experience of working in agile, including an awareness of agile tools and how to use them (such as JIRA and Confluence)
What else you need to know:
This role is offered on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract basis, however, there is a possibility this could lead to a permanent role and is based from our Milton Keynes (Unity Place) office.
We want our people to thrive at work and home, and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
