To lead on the financial support for a number of strategic projects or service developments within the division. RESPONSIBILITY FOR FINANCIAL AND PHYSICAL RESOURCES To lead the annual budgetary cycle for specified service lines, using specialist knowledge and expert systems.To provide challenge to operational managers and clinicians on budget setting assumptions and work with budget holder to assess risk and mitigation strategies. The post holder will be a key customer of the management reporting team and will need to ensure the coordination, review, integrity and timeliness of the monthly financial reporting process for specified service lines. Oversee day to day administration for service lines of the budgetary control system such that respective budget have complete accurate timely and relevant financial information available enabling them to control costs within their areas of responsibility and to fulfil the Standing Financial Instructions of the Trust. To support all commercial propositions at divisional level and to support the Head of Finance in undertaking or overseeing the financial management on all key contracts within the division. To maintain and ensure that all Trust financial control procedures including Standing Orders and Standing Financial instructions are adhered to. RESPONSIBILITY FOR LEADING AND MANAGING To indirectly lead a team of finance staff, participating in recruitment and support their personal and technical development including establishing best practice, inputting into their appraisal. What you'll do

In your new role, you’ll be managing the analysis of complex cross franchise and pan group requirements, while capturing, validating and documenting business and system requirements and making sure that they are in line with key strategic principles and the Operations strategy.

In the course of your work, you’ll work closely with key stakeholders across the business to create, shape, define and own pan-operations and individual franchise opportunities. You’ll build, manage and maintain positive working relationship with stakeholders at different levels of hierarchy and third party suppliers across multiple franchises and functions.

You’ll also:

• Create and maintain documentation, as well as support controls and quality assurance for key stakeholders and suppliers
• Identify upstream failure demand in processes and propose remediation to prevent flow of work into operations
• Trace and link business requirements to future state design and communicate business needs into technical requirements
• Create and execute test scenarios and test scripts at various stages of the project in order to validate the solution design
• Facilitate user acceptance testing and support business users in executing the user acceptance testing

The skills you'll need

You’ll need to hold an appropriate business analyst certification, such as BAX, CPRE and CBAP. You should be comfortable working with ambiguity and have the ability to pay keen attention to detail and drive progress at pace.

It’ll be ideal if you have experience of working with large scale automation or AI and strategies that are tangible and grounded, as will be a background in business design and experience of Agile processes and ceremonies.

What you'll do

You’ll create, shape, define and own pan-operations and individual franchise opportunities that support delivery of the Operations five year strategic plan and develop the associated business case, securing sign-off and approval of the same from all major stakeholders.
