As a Corporate Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for our organisation, providing exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees. Your role is crucial in creating a positive and professional impression of our company. In addition to delivering outstanding customer service, you will maintain high levels of security awareness and adhere to uniform standards to ensure a safe and consistent environment.

Receptionist Duties:

-The role of the Receptionist is to provide the highest levels of customer care and service to all clients, partners and all employees in line with agreed service level agreements and procedures. We aim to make the client's first impression a positive and lasting one.

-To provide a warm courteous and prompt welcome on arrival for all visitors at the reception desk.

-To handle all incoming telephone calls/enquiries promptly giving a warm, courteous welcome and using the agreed salutation.

-To provide assistance for meeting room bookings as required and to liaise with relevant parties to ensure the delivery of a professional service.

-To liaise and communicate with other team members and other service departments in a clear and timely manner ensuring service delivery and team work.

-To carry out regular checks of the meeting rooms on site to ensure correct set up and readiness for client use, including rearranging furniture and room layouts as requiredTo report any maintenance issues requiring attention in the reception and client suite areas.

-Provide support to all Reception desk across two buildings 1 More London Place & 25 Churchill Place.

-To maintain an organized and tidy work area — this is to include the front desk, seating area, meeting rooms.

-To anticipate client needs, follow up with requests and ensure the client expectations are not only met but exceeded.

-To ensure that visitor and client arrivals are communicated to the relevant people promptly and that the visitor is either met or escorted to the relevant room in a timely fashion.

-To ensure that waiting visitors are kept informed of any delays and to ensure client comfort.

-To replenish meeting rooms, as required, with pads, pens and pencils.

-To ensure that all required hospitality is served promptly and to the highest standards.

-To ensure all audio-visual equipment is working and provide support when required.

-To maintain appropriate stationery stocks in the reception area.

Qualifications:

-Previous experience as a corporate FOH receptionist is preferable.

-Previous experience of working in a professional/corporate environment is essential.

-Previous experience of corporate customer service environment essential.

-Strong customer focus.

-Able to work independently and as part of a team.

-Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is essential

-Computer literacy skills — Intermediate Excel, ability towork with formula's, Word and Outlook

-Must have sound numerical skills.

-Ability to operate calmly under pressure.

-Able to demonstrate a professional and organized approach to the role.

-Logical thinker, able to spot errors and resolve queries.

-Able to deal with interruptions, work to deadlines and prioritize.

-Strong relationship skills — able to build and maintain rapport with guests.

The Role

The primary focus of the role of the Cluster Director of Sales is to drive incremental revenue into the assigned hotels in line with budget and future strategy. With a focus on delivering new lucrative business opportunities that drive revenue and rate, and to build effective relationships with existing accounts to drive volume. The role will also focus on revenue growth of the M&E and group business segments from a combination of new, existing and agency relationships, across all hotels within the Clermont Hotel portfolio. The secondary focus of the role will be to lead the team of Sales Managers and Sales Executives, with a focus on induction, training, mentoring & measurement of these individuals. The Cluster Director of Sales will ensure delivery of financial targets and business objectives across the hotel. With over 5000 bedrooms in London, this individual also needs to be identifying opportunities across the whole group of hotels, ensuring a cross-selling mentality is adopted across all relevant departments and areas of responsibility.

Your new job working as a Senior Corporate Account Handler will be working in the Corporate Commercial department for a Lloyd's Broker who have been established for over 50 years. Your new Brokers have offices in over 100 countries and currently collaborate as a powerful international team comprised of 18,000 employees. You will be joining a large team of 28 that is split into smaller teams who love to collaborate and support one another and celebrate each other's successes. Due to growth within their City based Corporate Commercial team a permanent job for a Senior Corporate Account Handler has arisen with the option of hybrid working. 
Your new role
Your new job working as a Senior Corporate Account Handler means you will be liaising with Account Executives and client Directors to help their team deliver excellent service for customer insurance needs. This includes handling renewals, mid-term changes, and providing professional advice to corporate clients. You will be responsible for acquiring renewal terms and deliver or assist in presenting to the client, undertake market exercise to establish the most competitive terms available and issue renewal documentation in line with contract certainty. Liaise with the Client Director/Account Executive to ensure an appropriate strategy for renewal, attend client meetings and undertake market exercise to establish the most competitive terms available. Other duties will include producing any documentation and make sure premiums are collected prior to the commencement of cover. Use of Acturis daily
What you'll need to succeed
Your experience working as an Account handler dealing with Corporate risks with working knowledge of all main classes of General Insurance as well as
Commercial insurance experience will contribute to your success in securing this role.
You will be confident and have good attention to detail, as well as having good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook E-mail systems and be able to process work quickly and meet deadlines. You will need excellent client service skills with the ability to gather and analyse information from the client and able to persuade and influence others. Prior knowledge/experience of the Acturis computer system would be preferable. It would also be desirable for the successful candidate to be CERT CII or DIP CII qualified or equivalent or have evidence to show they are making good progress towards it and or be willing to progress towards professional qualifications.
