As part of our growth plan for early 2024, randd UK are looking to hire 2 Tax Accountants to join our busy Head Office Team in
Derby. The role of Tax Accountant is critical to the success of each claim we make for our Clients as they will assist with the
preparation of financial data for specific R&D tax credit claims.
Responsibilities include:
* Responsible calculating R&D tax claim values and communicating that to our clients
* Liaising regularly with Clients and Accountants
* Bring together all claim information, including performing checks to make sure all claim documentation agrees
* Submission of tax returns including the R&D Claim and R&D Additional Information forms
* Working closely with all internal teams especially supporting our Technical Consultants
* Communicating with HMRC
* Invoicing, other ad hoc finance and analysis tasks
Skills & Experience Required:
* Accountancy qualification - ideally recently passed or nearing completion (will will support anyone wishing to complete their
studies)
* We would also be interested in any recent Graduates (with a degree in Finance and / or Accounting) looking to enter the
workplace
* Confident with all Microsoft packages, especially Excel
* Knowledge of accounting software a bonus but not essential (training will be provided for Iris)
* Excellent written, communication and listening skills.
* A good telephone manner with strong rapport building skills.
* Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to work well alone and within a team
* Can prioritise effectively & high attention to detail and accuracy
Salary & Benefits:
* Excellent starting salary (up to £34,000 for newly or nearly qualified, up to £24,000 for a recent Graduate)
