This full-time position starts in September and runs until December, with a strong possibility of extension.
The school has a specialism in leadership and was rated 'Good' in all four areas of the inspection framework during its inspection in January 2023. They are an ambitious school with high expectations for all pupils.
Position: Full-Time Science Teacher
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Contract: September - December (initially), with the potential for extension
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic success.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and contribute to a positive learning environment.
- Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.
