Join our Economic Crime Intelligence Lab in a key Data Science role you'll see how a leading FinTech fights fraud whilst ensuring continuity of the service our customers expect. You'd be using your skills in Python to update and maintain our machine learning libraries underpinning our fraud controls. You'll work with new technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Pyspark), toolsets and techniques to embed the latest solutions into our products. Your skills will in time be utilised within wider Economic Crime areas with exposure to even wider technologies and learning.

Ultimately you'll get to identify innovative solutions within machine learning and use statistical analysis to detect and prevent fraud against our customers and the bank. Your input will help our fraud detection become ever more sophisticated through improved accuracy i.e. less interruption of genuine customer transactions. You'll also have very well-defined success metrics (e.g. detection rate, alert rate) and an abundance of meaningful, complex data for you to get stuck into.

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an experienced science professional who will provide a comprehensive efficient and effective range of technical support to meet the needs of the department. This will include preparation and maintenance of resources, ordering of supplies and supporting both staff and students in the classroom. You will need to be enthusiastic, flexible and confident in supporting practical work to A level. You may be required to work across all science departments, but specific departmental training will be provided where appropriate.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding Senior Science Technician to join our science department at Kings Priory School. We welcome applications from existing school-based science technicians and those who have relevant laboratory-based experience. You will be providing crucial medical and scientific expertise for a 12-month maternity leave cover. As an MSL, you will play a vital role in understanding disease products while forging valuable partnerships within the medical community and healthcare systems. Contributes to the achievement of corporate goals through D-SNP product, program, market engagement and/or marketing communications strategies. Initiatives may include new products or business partnerships to grow revenue beyond traditional sources as well as identification of market engagement, marketing communications and/or other programs to address market needs of duals in the most cost-effective manner. Leverages D-SNP industry experience and expertise to promote enterprise understanding of the key areas in which the company is seeking to create competitive differentiation and establish sustainable competitive advantage in the marketplace.
This role includes collaboration with both internal and external partners to operationalize our D-SNP program to achieve our desired member experience, improved health outcomes, quality, and compliance with both state and federal regulations. External partners may include the state of NC and partners who support delivery of member services on the D-SNP product. This role will be the SME on D-SNP product and Federal D-SNP requirements.

What You'll Do

• Responsible for overall growth and oversight of performance across key levers

• Proactively identify, evaluate, and implement D-SNP product, program, market engagement and/or marketing communications strategies to meet Blue Cross NC’s growth objectives. 

• Support and manage development efforts related to the enhancement and maintenance of our current D-SNP products, programs and market offer components.

• Collaborate with Medicare product development, sales, community engagement, and marketing to execute on membership growth strategies (sales/retention) including an annual go to market strategy, 10/1 sales readiness and retention/member engagement strategies

• Review  customer and consumer insights and collaborate with product development team to create  holistic D-SNP strategies, programs and plans that effectively drive business outcomes and maximize ROI (segmentation, product design, communication preferences, messaging strategy and measurement plans/learnings).

• Collaborate and execute critical activities such as strategic planning, complex financial/qualitative analysis and thought leadership at a departmental and enterprise level. 

• Collaborate with STARs team and Elevance to improve CAHPS

• Collaborate on strategies for member rewards 

• Facilitate communication and present information to both internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including senior-level leadership, to effectively drive programs/initiatives.

• Collaborates to evaluate strategic partners to provide innovative and market differentiating capabilities and may participate in the assessment, selection, and contract negotiation of these partners/vendors to support the D-SNP business.

• Develops proofs of concept, business cases, market engagement and communications strategies and plans, detailed design and/or business requirements for assigned D-SNP strategic initiatives.

• Organize, optimize, and communicate progress towards the completion of overall work portfolio.

• Manages complex projects and cross-functional teams working on significant business strategies and opportunities. 

• Identify, analyze, and monitor relevant industry, regulatory, technology and market-based trends.

• Coaches/mentors more junior staff as needed to facilitate execution of assigned strategic initiatives.
