Working for a market leading executive recruitment business responsible for search and selection of senior appointments at board level in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Our team in London comprises some of the most experienced consultants in our business, who operate in a mature, experienced and quality-driven environment. The research team forms an integral part of our prestigious business and provides market intelligence, search, selection and benchmarking services.
Your new role
You will work collaboratively with our team of 2 researchers as their Manager and support the lead consultant on individual campaigns by identifying potential candidates through a combination of desk-based research and telephone networking. You will be responsible for the standards and performance of the research team, as well as their day to day and career management. This will involve management of daily KPIs and performance metrics of each team member as well as the performance indicators of each campaign.Playing a pivotal role in executive search and headhunting, you will have a significant impact on the appointment of critical, high-profile leadership appointments for major government departments, local authorities and commercial companies. Through your strong communication, rapport-building skills and quality-driven approach, you will engage with high-level senior executives and gather niche specialist market intelligence for the consulting team and clients. This works at the top end of the recruitment market.
What you'll need to succeed
He will have demonstrable management experience and skills, the team will be 3 including you, and will require strong leadership, direction and task management. As a confident communicator who is conscientious, organised, inquisitive and focused on results, you will possess high levels of customer service and quality awareness. You will have a background in research and recruitment of some sort, and be used to thinking laterally, overcoming obstacles to find out what you're looking for. You will be commercially driven and focused, and able to work efficiently with the right resources required for each project.You will be required to operate in a quality-driven environment where attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication is paramount.With experience in a customer-focused business and commercial environment, you will be able to demonstrate an ability to compile and convert in-depth complex market insights into successful client outcomes.
