Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Science, at our fantastic school CHS South, to join our team of committed staff who share a common sense of purpose and high expectations of what students can achieve.
This role is to provide maternity cover for a period from January 2025 or sooner for a year, or upon the post-holders return, whichever is sooner. This is a fixed term, full time role.
The post holder is required to fulfil the professional responsibilities which are common to all classroom teachers in the school, as outlined in the current School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.
These detail the professional and particular duties required of teachers, together with requirements for management time, working time, guaranteed planning and preparation time.
The school complies with these requirements in order to make reasonable demands of teachers.
The post holder’s key responsibilities will be improving the standards of learning and raising levels of student achievement for all students in their care.
