• You will conduct continuing surveillance of work involving radioactive materials and radiological controls associated with naval nuclear propulsion plant work.

The Directorate for Geosciences (GEO) is offering a detail opportunity to serve as the Interdisciplinary (Supervisory Program Director) within the Division of Earth Sciences (EAR). This detail is open to all qualified permanent and rotator NSF employees. The initial appointment will be 120 days, with the possibility to extend up to 365 days in 120-day increments. The Central Virginia Veterans Affairs Health Care System, Richmond VAMC is looking for a Registered Nurse into the role of SCI/D RN Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse in the Spinal Cord Injury Unit, off tour, and alternating/weekend shifts.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

-The Spinal Cord Injury and Disorders (SCI/D) RN Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse is directly responsible to the designated manager in the assigned area; the registered nurse is responsible for the prevention, health maintenance, therapeutic intervention, and rehabilitative nursing care to a culturally diverse veteran SCI/D patient population with disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems.

-Participates in the interdisciplinary plan of care.

-Participates in wound care rounds.

-Maintain records of wounds, both present on admission and hospital-acquired.

-Make recommendations for wound ostomy continence patient needs.

-Provide staff education related to wound ostomy and continence nursing care.

-Provides extensive patient education.

-Participates in telehealth conferences for patients with wound, ostomy, and continence needs.

• Advising the Undersecretary for Management (USM), Chief Readiness Support Officer, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Component Chief Administrative Officers (CAOs) and Senior Real Property Officers on facility and infrastructure cost estimating and analysis issues.
