Start Date - ASAPWe have an exciting opportunity for a Science Technician to join the team at Howard of Effingham School. As with all of our Support Staff roles at the Howard, this role ultimately supports students by leading or working as part of a team of technicians servicing laboratories, preparing materials and equipment for demonstrations and practical lessons as requested by teaching staff.
They will provide technical support including Health & Safety guidance to pupils and experienced and trainee teachers including whilst assisting in practical classes and carrying out demonstrations.

Science Technician Salary in the range of SESSET 4 FTE £22,647 - £24,641 (actual £19,107 - £20,790) 36 hours per week. 8am – 4pm Term time only An enthusiastic and organised individual is required to join our friendly team. CBSC is seeking to appoint a Chemistry technician who will support the practical and technical aspects of the science curriculum by preparing, providing, maintaining, organising and managing the resources required for healthy, safe and secure, exciting practical activities to be carried out by staff and students.

You will be joining an established team of experienced technicians, working in well resourced, refurbished labs which have amazing flexible theory and practical space, as well as two new labs.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the smooth day to day running of our faculty so it is essential that you are confident in providing technical assistance and student support in a classroom environment within this subject area.
