P&P Cleaning Position - Driver & Manager

Experience would be great but not essential.

Wage Basic - £12.00 per hour Gross per average 8-hour day. Working hours 8 am - 4 pm not including travel. Extra 50p hour is added to compensate for travelling.

Will increase the pay after the 3 months Induction Period to £14 per hour.

Job Description

Driver with a clean licence Highest Priority
Attend domestic and commercial sites and clean the windows and frames using a water-fed pole system. Full training provided.

We have jobs all over Bolton, Bury, Chester, Manchester, Lancaster, Northwich, and Crewe. We are only in these locations once a month hence the 50p extra per hour. Most of our work is local in Bolton. We do not pay for commuting to the first job. Your pay starts as you start on the first job, and your pay ends as you leave the last job. 50p per hour is added to the £12ph for every hour worked to allow for travel time.

Zero hour contract Holiday Pay which pays 12.07% of all hours worked

You could work 8-4pm every day which is 40 hours a week easily, more hours can be arranged. £500 per week gross.

Pensions are with NEST should you wish to opt in.

You would be managing a member of staff - work must be checked. You would have a Van, this must be kept clean and tidy for work use only.

Why do we need a 3 months Induction Period

To learn all the job locations, the frequency of jobs, the specification of cleaning of each job, the system, the company policies and procedures. We work differently from any other window cleaning firm and offer only a perfect service to our customers.

The Van should be used for commercial use only
The Van should be cleaned on a weekly basis - we provide an allowance for this

Supply Chain Change and Improvement Manager

£55,000 to £65,000 plus great benefits (Work Level 5)

Manchester City Centre, in this role you'll work in a hybrid way splitting your time between home and working in the office at least once a week

We're looking for a Change and Improvement Manager to join our Supply Chain team. We'll look to you to optimise our internal supply chain systems and support the wider Co-op to plan for external change programmes. You'll make sure that Supply Chain processes and the use of SAP is consistent across the Supply Chain team.

You'll work with our internal systems and teams to learn and understand SAP, looking at how we can improve the way we use technology across the business. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to our wider Co-op and connect with a huge network of our internal partners, whilst being an ambassador for change.

What you'll do

• Support the team to identify improvements to SAP ways of working
• Working alongside the development provided by our technology team and land it in supply chain
• Look for opportunities to continuously improve and pitch ideas around enhancements back to our technology team
• Make sure any improvements are shared cross functionally and relevant business processes are updated
• Be responsible for making sure supply chain processes are developed in collaboration with internal teams
• Identify short term capacity impacts and mitigate any risks to the business
• Lead a group of colleagues through a change project or working group to achieve a specific outcome

This role would suit people who have

• Experience working for an FMCG retailer, supply chain or logistics
• The ability to use and learn new systems with the technical capability to analyse data
• Experience in managing change projects
• The ability to lead, coach and support individuals through change

Your new company

A leading wholesale and distribution business with more than 50 years' experience is seeking an Import Manager to head up the company's import function. The business places a great focus on looking after its staff, making it a fantastic place to work. They are moving to a brand new office in Manchester City Centre having outgrown their current office - it's a really exciting time to join!

Your new role
The Import Manager will have overall responsibility for the import, export and shipping activity on behalf of the business, and will advise on supply chain operations in both domestic and international markets. You will be the main point of contact for stakeholders including HMRC, suppliers, and freight forwarders. You'll manage the customs compliance framework process, and you'll conduct compliance audits and investigations. The Import Manager will manage the team and ensure that shipments run smoothly, and you will liaise with warehouse managers to ensure that there is sufficient capacity, as well as looking at forecasts and future deliveries. Taking a more proactive approach, you will analyse the company's freight costs and will benchmark freight tenders for import/export operations and courier shipments.

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience working as an Import Manager (please note, this is not a 'step-up' role, the company requires experience at the managerial level already)
• Ability to plan and carry out international operations such as cross-trade shipments and EU export cargo to end customer efficiently and professionally.
• Understanding of the warehousing process and warehouse management systems.
• Detailed knowledge of customs authorisations and processes such as AEO, CFSP, Customs Warehousing, NES and NCTS.
• Knowledge of running Customs Freight Simplified Procedures (CFSP) on a Duty Management System software
• Perform shipping operations and customs procedures compliant with HMRC Framework.
• Excellent leadership skills of managing a team
• Strong negotiation skills for stakeholder freight tenders.
• Understanding of international shipments and knowledge of the end-to-end supply chain/freight forwarder processes.
