Working as a Forklift Truck Driver, you will be a key player, working on the food production line ensuring a smooth production process, and above all, quality is maintained. As such, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Picking and loading of customer orders
• Ensuring that all items that are loaded/unloaded match the relevant paperwork
• Reporting any damaged/missing items to Warehouse Managers/Supervisors
• Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining warehouse equipment
• Storing and distribution of produced items
• Assisting with warehouse inventory controls
• General warehouse and labourer duties

To be successful within this FLT position, you will ideally have previous experience in a warehouse, production, manufacturing or other fast-paced environment - food processing experience is advantageous. Combined with:

• A valid Forklift certificate
• Good physical strength and fitness

Van Driver
Brigg

GI Group Grimsby are currently recruiting for a Van Driver for their new client based in Brigg, this position is an immediate start, full time. The role will include delivering heavy materials.

The role itself will be completing delivery drops around and just outside of Lincolnshire using a long wheel based van, it will be around 8-12 drops per day. The shifts will be around 12 hours per shift. There will be a first day induction for 1 hour which will be paid, during this induction you will be shown how to use the PDA machine used for deliveries and SAT-NAV.

The pay rate is £11.50 per hour, then after 8 hours onto time and a half at £17.25 per hour.

Driver Role Specifics:
- The van will already be loaded ready for transport
- The deliveries will be mainly to wholesale businesses around and just outside of Lincolnshire
- The van will have a tail lift and moving floor in the back to make transportation/unloading easy

Driver Specifics;
- UK Driving Licence held for 2 years +
- Maximum 6 points on driving licence can be accepted (endorsement code dependant_)
- Confident with driving long distances and using navigation systems
- 22 years of age and over
