Staffline is recruiting HGV LGV Class 1 drivers for our client based in Bristol, Emersons Green.

PAYE pay rates for the role of LGV1 driver will be as follows:

• Monday to Friday Days - £18.37 per hour
• Monday to Friday Nights - £20.26 per hour
• Saturday / Sunday Days - £22.43 per hour
• Saturday / Sunday Nights - £24.78 per hour

We are delighted to offer full time regular ongoing work and shifts are available on all start times across 7 days a week. Every shift is a minimum pay of 8 hours guaranteed but usual shift length is between 10 and 12 hours. Regular weekend work available too.

Your Time at Work
As an HGV 1 driver, the work will involve HGV Class 1 Delivery work, delivering products to store locations throughout the South West, ensuring health and safety is followed at all time. Clean work, maximum 3 drops. In return for your commitment we can offer regular shifts and start times that suit you.

Regular weekend work available. Part time HGV drivers are also welcome to apply.

We have other sites locally that work will be available at if for any reasons shifts are not available.

This is an apprenticeship role.

Training
This is a Motor Vehicle Technician Apprenticeship, delivered by Robert Bosch Ltd.

Training is delivered on a block release basis at the Alliance Training Centre in Doncaster.

This means your college based training will be delivered away from home and you will be required to stay in a hotel for 17 separate weeks (Mon – Fri) over the 3 year duration of the course. All associated costs for training are met by the employer/the programme and there will be no cost to yourself/your parents or guardians.

Assessments will also be conducted in the work place by a dedicated training assessor. You will also be assigned a workplace mentor for support in dealership.

As a result you will receive the following qualification:

• Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle) Level 3


Qualifications required
GCSEs grades 9 – 4 (A* - C) or Functional Skills Level 2 in maths and English.
