Due to ongoing growth we require FULL TIME self-employed driver contractors based across England to join our expanding network across the UK .

Home based you will start as a Self-Employed Vehicle Collection and Delivery Driver

You will collect and deliver vehicles across the UK. You will be required to plan your own travel between drop off and collections by utilising public transport or through the resource of our network of drivers

Following a successful probationary period, you will be up-skilled to be a Corporate Handover Driver and ultimately trained to join our Inspections team working on blue chip accounts as an Inspector/Driver enjoying the additional benefits associated with the role

Experience is not essential as full training will be given, you must have good customer service skills, a working knowledge of vehicles and have a professional can-do attitude

The Client

Our Client are a New Build Housing contractor working Nationally. This top ten house builder produce a wide range of homes for first time buyers and Housing Associations across the Country offering all-inclusive specifications. They are looking to recruit a number of Telehandler Drivers to start in January 2024 to support sites across Leicestershire.

The Role
You will be required to drive the Telescopic Forklift, supplying materials across a new build housing site.

Duties
Supply trades on-site with materials
Lift and place various loads from a variety of locations.
Manoeuvring the Telehandler safely around the site in line with Health & Safety Guidelines
Completing the relevant safety checks before and after use of the machine
Ensuring your seat belt is worn at all times


Requirements

You must have a valid CPCS Card / NPORS
You must have a valid UK driver's licence for insurance purposes
You must have experience of working on construction sites

Working for our client who are a National office/stationary supplies company you will be a Multi-Drop delivery driver based from the RDC in Leicester. Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week.

About the position:
You will be driving a Van, carrying out Multi-Drop deliveries on a daily basis whilst providing a professional & efficient service to all customers, ensuring all deliveries arrive safely in a timely manner. Some of the orders can be heavy, up to 25kg and there may be some customers who require you to deliver upstairs.
Key responsibilities:
• Manage and organise designated delivery notes into route order and load your vehicle accordingly
• To assist in the unloading of pallets and sorting of orders
• Deliver orders, which may be furniture and other Workplace products to customers, maintaining a high level of customer service at all times
• Give advice to customers with regards to return procedures, including toners and recycling services
• Collect returns within company guidelines
• Report unauthorised collections and returns to Supervisor or Manager as appropriate
• Deliver high standards of customer care at all times
• Ensure all documentation is correct and submitted on time
• Maintain the Company vehicle, ensure it is clean, well maintained and has fuel, oil and is roadworthy, reporting any faults as they occur
• Observe legislation and Company procedures while driving and ensure health and safety at work
• To comply with Company Quality, Health and Safety, Environmental and other policies, procedures and standards
• To undertake such other duties as may reasonably be requested by a manager or supervisor



About you:
• Previous Multi-Drop driving experience is required
• Be looking for full time hours and a permanent job

You will work Monday to Friday from 06:30 and will working week will be based on 45 hours.

Cat C1 - £26,527.50 (£11.34 per hour whilst with the agency)

Cat B - £25,506 (£10.90 per hour whilst with the agency)
