Responsibilities

As an Automotive Technician, you would be an integral part of our day to day functions.

• Predominantly workshop based with mobile capability
• Taking care of general vehicle repair and maintenance duties
• Carry out preventative maintenance inspections ensuring all vehicles are safe and road tested
• Prepare all vehicles for MOT
• Service and maintain all vehicles to the highest standard
• Whenever called upon, attend breakdowns

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our growing network within our clients Depots across the country. Shifts are available on part time basis and as we are open 7 days, there is flexibility in the working week you choose.

Our client is responsible for the delivery of parcels to a nationwide network where you be delivering to Hubs, Depots and Delivery Units liaising with colleagues here to ensure a smooth delivery. A typical day in the life of a HGV Class 2 Driver will include up to 10 drops, efficient driving of the vehicle adhering to road safety standards and effectively completing paperwork. Support is always available as we know that things can arise daily when navigating British roads, the friendly transport team are always available to help you a navigate through any issues.

• Pay rate is from £14.38 increasing to £15.08 after 12 weeks

Essential skills and requirements for a HGV Class 2 Driver:

• We require you to have a full UK Driving Licence with a HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement.
