Role Summary:
The Aircraft Support Worker will support the service and maintenance department in ensuring the cleanliness of the aircraft, its removed components and the hangar is maintained at all times.
Previous work experience as an aircraft cleaner is a significant advantage but not essential. Candidates must be able to demonstrate they can work safely and efficiently within an aviation environment and have the following skills:

Main responsibilities:
• Cleaning of Passenger aircraft (internally and externally).
• Cleaning of aircraft parts and engineering components as instructed.
• Exterior Cleaning will involve paint cleaning and aluminium brightwork polishing. Training will be provided.
• Using specialised equipment to remove biohazardous materials from aircraft cabins.
• Maintain cleanliness within the hangars, including floors and walkways.

• Ensure waste material bins are reported when full and useable rags are available.
• Some facilities cleaning will be required, however the majority of this is carried out by other cleaners.

• The ability to deal with pressure at busy , juggling multiple priorities whilst maintaining attention to detail and ensure high standards are maintained.
• Able to follow instruction, whilst also displaying a can-do attitude with initiative to ensure all jobs required are completed in a timely manner.

• Prepared to work as part of a team.

Essential experience of the Vehicle Mechanic and Examiner

• HGV experience
• Holds valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications for the Vehicle Mechanic and Examiner

• Educated to Level 3 in Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) National Vocational
• Qualification (NVQ) in Motor Mechanics (Light or Heavy) or EAL Level 3 NVQ Extended
• Diploma in Engineering Maintenance (Mechanical)

This position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.

SELF-EMPLOYED VEHICLE COLLECTION AND DELIVERY DRIVER / TRADE PLATE DRIVER PART/FULL TIME

Here at BCA Logistics, we touch over a million vehicles a year, working with manufacturers, fleet operators and dealers to provide the backbone of the UK's automotive supply chain.

Due to our ever-increasing volumes, we are looking to engage additional Self-Employed Driver contractors throughout the UK who can help us deliver that service.

What do I need? - No experience is needed as a full 2-day technical service familiarisation seminar available, at a site local to you. You do not need your own vehicle and there is no initial outlay of any cost. We do however require the following (essential):

• Held a full UK Manual Driver Licence for at least 2 years (registered to your current home address).
• No more than 9 points on your licence (and no serious motoring offences).
• Aged 21 or over (for insurance purposes).
• Are punctual and reliable with a polite and professional demeanour.
• Excellent customer service skills.

What will I be doing? - You will be collecting a variety of different vehicles from clients, checking they are safe for you to drive and delivering these to the required destination. On some occasions you may carry out an inspection on the vehicles.

• Handling vehicles with care and professionalism.
• Keeping clients informed of estimated arrival time and any possible delays.
