Title:

KBR is seeking a Project Manager for Instructional Systems Design (ISD) work supporting a government client in Orlando, FL. You will lead a team supporting analysis, curriculum design, and courseware development for trainers and simulators for surface vessels such as Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) and Frigates, equipment which interfaces with surface vessels, multi-platform systems, and potentially other Department of Defense (DoD) platforms or weapon systems. Your team will be part of and coordinate with a broader team which provides engineering, logistics management, and ISD support to DoD organizations developing trainers and simulators for military aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, naval surface vessels, and unmanned/semi-autonomous watercraft.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Visits to the government client facilities in Orlando, FL may be required multiple times per month.

• Travel to various client sites is expected approximately 8 times per year.

• Most duties may be performed remotely, but occasional in-person meetings with government clients and the team will be encouraged to strengthen relationships.  

Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Lead a team of Instructional Systems Designers directly reporting to you.

• As new requirements emerge, hire new talent to satisfy those needs (job posting, interviewing, onboarding…).

• Communicate with clients and other stakeholders about their requirements and your team’s progress toward meeting their objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline such as instructional design, educational technology, or business

• At least 10 years of Instructional Systems Design experience

• Proficiency with military standards and processes related to training systems and curriculum development such as MIL-PRF-29612 and NAVEDTRA guidance

• Eligibility for a DoD Secret Security Clearance

• Comfort managing a diverse team that includes local and remote personnel

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work and communicate well in a virtual/ remote environment

Title:

The Precision Fires Branch requirements for FMS Mid-Senior Level, as program analyst, incumbent will work under close guidance of the International Program Manager in support of multiple CENTCOM/EUCOM R3 and New Business.  The duties will include assembling and preparing reports, reviewing and preparing official correspondence, and processing foreign visit requests. This request is to fill position in the Precision Fires Branch.

Individual is required to assist the IPMs and case developers in the development/execution of complex, high-dollar programs. Duties include preparing spreadsheet for case development, case modifications/amendments, support FMS financial management, develop PMR charts, attend meetings and PMRs, take PMR action items and provide unique reports as required.  Pull financial data from various databases to conduct financial reviews and performance reconciliations to include case close out actions. Assist senior logistics management specialists in development/preparation of highly complex cases. The candidate will provide satellite systems technical engineering and programmatic support for all lifecycle phases for programs, to include studies, within a major US Government small satellite systems program office. KBR is seeking a Sr. Architecture Systems Engineer to join our team supporting our customer in Chantilly VA that delivers mission-critical capabilities directly supporting intelligence-gathering missions from NRO overhead systems.  We engineer spacecraft command and control systems and process the resulting collected data into useful information distributed to US Government Intelligence Community and Military users.

As a member of our team, you will perform classic systems engineering functions within the architecture team of the Ground Enterprise Directorate.  Activities may include architecture and system definition, use of CAMEO and related Model Based Systems Engineering and architecting applications, engagement with acquisition offices, coordination of interfaces and the creation of architecture level products to support major system acquisition processes across the space and ground programs spectrum. 

Specific responsibilities may include:

• Support and advise the customer in developing enterprise-wide strategies addressing challenges and exploiting opportunities, drafting future architecture plans, identification of threats, challenges and opportunities

• Create, deliver, and maintain architecture descriptions, digital models, CONOPS, and other architecture products as appropriate

• Support the enterprise-wide budget planning process via the development, coordination, and issuance of enterprise architecting guidance in accordance with enterprise-wide strategies

• Lead enterprise-level working groups to support the development and buy-in of new or enterprise implementation of existing capabilities

• Support and advise customer on mission partner, stakeholder, and user community system and enterprise architecture and readiness reviews

• Participate in user engagement and needs solicitation activities; drafting briefings, white papers, conducting assessments

• Create, deliver, and maintain technical assessments on technological opportunities and risks in consideration of incorporating into the architecture

• Maintain and update customer architecture related policies and procedures

Minimum qualifications:

• TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

• Bachelor’s Degree (STEM or advanced degree preferred)

• 15+ years similar working experience

• Working knowledge of the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)

• Working experience in DoD or IC

The Ground Station RF Engineer position provides technical leadership in the areas of hardware maintenance, engineering, and configuration of all ground station equipment serviced by the on-site Landsat Ground Station (LGS). The candidate will also support several system engineering duties in support of the Ground Network for the Landsat mission, therefore, experience in the development, I&T, and deployment of RF systems is necessary.

• Support development and testing of elements that interface with the GN to help maintain overall mission integrity

• Assists the Development and Operations leads to manage budget, schedule, and scope for GN systems
