Position Purpose:
This position will be capable of performing all functions within the sales department, with a focus on proposals, plan studies, plan establishment kit (PEK) prefills and conducting plan establishment kit (PEK) calls. Should the time arise when a region becomes available, this person will be able to slide into the position. In the interim, they will move throughout the department depending on where immediate need may be.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Generate proposals; create plan studies; analyze adoption agreements and prefill PEKs; provide assistance to various regions that may be experiencing high volumes; conduct PEK calls.; become proficient and capable of providing web demos via web-ex; provide coverage for incoming calls as needed; assist with other tasks and projects as assigned.
• Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years’ experience in the retirement industry
• 1-3 years’ experience in the financial services industry
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of retirement plans with knowledge of IRS and ERISA regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
• Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Able to effectively render sound advice and judgment within company guidelines and ERISA rules
• Proficiency in MSOffice software applications, specifically Excel
• Customer service focused
