Overview Of The Role
You will be working both within a hostel setting, but also depending on the assignment, out in the community. You will support those at risk of homelessness, those suffering with their mental health, those struggling with substance misuse, or even ex-offenders. You will be responsible for ensuring their safety, as well as your own and the staff around you. Whether they need emotional support, help applying for housing benefits, or just someone to talk to, you will be there to support.

Required Experience
As this is a temporary role, and usually providing last-minute cover, you will be expected to hit the ground running. Previous experience working with vulnerable people within a similar setting will be essential.

The role is temporary expected to run until the end of March 2025, with the possibility of being extended past this date, working full time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Successful applicants would primarily be ushering within the court

Duties may include but not be limited to

* Greeting members of the public

* Liaising with judiciary, witnesses, jurors and other court users with professionalism

* Basic admin duties, data entry, dealing with queries, preparing juror packs in preparation for trials

* Walking jurors to and from court whilst remaining socially distanced

* Preparation of court rooms

* Providing support to all users of the courts, for whom it may be their first time.

Ideal candidates will be confident, enjoy interacting with a variety of court users. You will have excellent customer service skills and a passion to help people

Our client requires the following skills

* Good strong basic admin experience

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and outlook

* Ability to remain calm in potentially difficult situations

* Ability to remain professional at all time and converse with a variety of court users

Full training will be given, starting you off with the basics as well as meeting and greeting. Once fully trained, you will then work in the Nottingham Crown Courts.

Overview of the Role
I am looking for a full-time Homeless Outreach Worker. You will be supporting those who are out on the street and sleeping rough, trying to encourage them to get into supported accommodation. To support individuals who are currently rough sleeping to move away from the streets into settled and secure accommodation. Delivering person centred support to service users, enabling them to secure suitable accommodation and to meet their immediate needs, enabling them to live a more sustainable and fulfilling life.

As an admin officer you will provide general admin support within the team, you will need to be flexible, hard-working and have the ability to provide good customer service to a variety of users.

Duties may include but not be limited to

• Creating and updating records on an in-house case management system.
  * Producing letters, notices and orders for court. Processing correspondence and making referrals to Judges.
  * Dealing with customer queries either by telephone or face-to-face.
  * Listing and preparing cases for hearing.
  * Clerking and ushering hearings taking place by video conferencing and those attending in person. Liaison between the Judiciary, legal professionals and the parties in civil and family cases.
  * Facilitating telephone hearings.
  * Sending out invitations for "Teams" meetings and our own in-house video conferencing system.
  * General ad-hoc office duties including post room and archive filing.

Required Skills

To support customers with life skills and empower them to make a positive contribution to society and become self-sufficient; this includes recording case studies that reflect achievements of outcomes.
