An excellent new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Lead Psychologist to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Newbury, Berkshire area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This hospital offers inpatient care for those who require mental health rehabilitation to support them in increasing their recovery pathway and independence
**To be considered for this position you must currently have accreditation with HCPC**
As the Lead Psychologist your key responsibilities include:
• Working within a multi-disciplinary team and alongside other therapists
• Line management responsibilities including but not limited to giving clinical supervision, providing Psycholotherapeutic advice and guidance and assisting with the analysis of statistical data for research and audit purposes. Staff training, running reflective practice, team formulations
• Manage and assign caseloads within the agreed timescales ensuring regular interaction and communication with service users and staff
• Respond to referrals undertaking assessments to determine and plan an effective therapy programme for assigned service users using the appropriate and relevant treatments, activities and interventions
• To write risk assessments to determine and plan an effective therapy programme
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Able to provide individual and group interventions
• Creative and compassionate approach
• An enthusiasm for improving the quality of life for patients
• Have individual casework, care coordination and patient assessment skills
• Experience from working in adult inpatients services, preferably with experience in delivering skills based groups and individual DBT and CBT sessions
The successful Lead Psychologist will receive an excellent salary of £74,000 - £79,500 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
