We're looking for estate planning solicitors to join our technical Estate Planning team within Co-op Legal Services.

At Co-op Legal Services we do things differently, whether that's continuously innovating our technology to support your delivery or our tailored internal progression framework to support your development. In this role you'll manage estate planning cases end to end with a client-focussed approach to targets. You won't need to bring a following of clients with you as we will source new work for you. We've doubled our Estate Planning team within the past few years, and as we continue to grow, there will be plenty of opportunity for progression.

What you'll do

* own caseload of complex Estate Planning cases to include Wills, Trusts and LPAs
* use our case management system to make sure information is recorded accurately
* engage with clients mainly by telephone and email
* work collaboratively with expert support from the team to continually develop your legal skills, administrative support will also be provided at certain case levels
* use your legal knowledge to mentor more junior members of the team

This role would suit people who have

* qualified as a solicitor or chartered legal executive, CILEX, or TEP qualification, with a background in estate planning
* knowledge of tax systems within England & Wales;
* strong attention to detail and the ability to draft documents

Contentious Probate Solicitor

We're looking for a contentious probate solicitor to join our contentious probate team within Co-op Legal Services.

In this role, you'll manage a caseload of disputes and litigation relating to estates. We'll also look to you to support other members of the team on larger cases as well as the opportunity to work on some property litigation matters. * manage a caseload of disputes and litigation relating to estates
* accurately update cases and make sure information is always recorded correctly
* engage with clients primarily over the phone and via email

Legal Case Manager
From £25,000 plus incentive scheme up to £2,500 after probation, with excellent benefits and progression opportunities (Work Level 6B)

Manchester, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Bristol, Sheffield - You'll complete your 3-6-month training at one of our offices, then you'll have the option to work in a hybrid way.

We're looking for case managers to join our Co-op Legal Services probate team. You don't need legal experience for this role, as we'll provide full training to get you up to speed.

In this role, you'll provide legal and administrative support to our customers following a bereavement. We'll look to you to manage each case from beginning to end, discussing the estate of the deceased, and keeping in continuous contact with the customer. You'll make a real difference to customers lives at a time when they need us most, and as a growing business we're passionate about developing our colleagues through our internal career progression framework. If you're looking to explore the route of qualifying through the SQE, this role counts as qualified work experience. What you'll do

* take ownership of your own caseload and deliver on targets that drive the best outcomes for our customers
* be supported by the latest technologies, including AI, to assist you in the management of files

* engage with third parties, in particular financial institutions, and government bodies
* prepare the forms and documents required to keep cases moving forward and keep track of financial transactions

As a legal administrator, you'll support case handlers and the wider team with a variety of administrative tasks, and most importantly looking after our clients. You don't need any legal experience to be successful in this role however you'll gain great exposure to a variety of legal work.
