The Blair Athol Coal mine is located 24 km northwest of the family-friendly township of Clermont in Central Queensland, 120 km northwest of Emerald and 275 km southwest of Mackay.

The Role

We are currently seeking highly motivated and experienced Diesel Fitters and Diesel Mechanics to complete planned and unplanned maintenance of Blair Athol’s mining equipment as directed to the required standards. This role may undertake either workshop or field-based maintenance.

Responsibilities of the Role:

* Compliance with site Safety and Health Management system requirements (including risk management, SOPs, permits, work instructions, etc.)
* Prioritise and undertake specified and/or general work to the required standard and within timeframes
* Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment
* Minimise production downtime
* Participate in and complete shift change, site meetings, communications, or reporting requirements to the required standard
* Actively engage in continuous improvement programs and maintenance workflow management

Skills and Experience:

* Diesel (Mechanical) trade qualification valid for Australia
* A demonstrated commitment to safety as a way of life
* Experience in maintaining and servicing excavators, mobile earthmoving equipment and / or fixed plant
* Knowledge of conducting safety inspections and completing JSA’s, risk assessments and permits
* A commitment to be an effective team player, including a positive attitude
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated and motivated Vehicle Parts Interpreter to join our team working on a range of vehicles - Audi, Holden, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mitsubishi, Skoda, Toyota and Volkswagen parts department.

Reporting to the Parts Manager the main focus of this role is to liaise with service department workshop and trade customers where you will provide product advice, interpret parts using electronic catalogues as well as processing parts orders.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

* Answering the parts phone and interpreting parts
* Servicing Service Workshop and Trade customer enquiries and orders
* Attend to customers efficiently and courteously
* Handle internal & external business as required

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL POSSES:

* Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter with solid interpretation skills
* ERA (Pentana) - candidates exposed to this system would be highly regarded
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Ability to communicate clearly & possess a good phone manner.

The Job Role

We are currently looking for experienced Automotive Technicians / Motor Mechanics and Diesel Mechanics to join our team working on a range of vehicles - Audi, Holden, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mitsubishi, Skoda, Toyota and Volkswagen. We have several workshops located across Metropolitan Sydney.

We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to join our team. All applications will be considered, including those seeking temporary visa sponsorship. You'll work in our state of the art workshop diagnosing and repairing our customers' vehicles. It's important that you are capable of completing work to a high standard while at the same time maintaining an efficient work ethic.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Carry out vehicle repairs and/or maintenance as per repair order to vehicle, manufacturer and dealership requirements and report to Workshop Foreman/Controller of any delays or inability to achieve the required outcome
* Ensure all work is carried out to the highest of quality at all times, in line with dealer and manufacture guidelines and standard repair time where possible
* Be familiar with, and maintain knowledge of manufacturer literature, Technical Service and Warranty bulletins and repair procedures as outlined on TOPIx
* To have a good understanding of current vehicle mechanical systems including electrical, transmission and safety control systems
* Ensure accurate clocking for each job line on repair order – including retail, warranty and internal
* Maintain a sound knowledge of all dealership products and services

Qualifications & Requirements

* Current trade qualifications as a motor mechanics / diesel mechanic
* The ability to work in a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong technical and diagnostic skills
* Experience with one or more of our brands will be highly regarded

The Role

We are currently seeking for skilled and experienced Automotive Technicians / Mechanics to join our team in Gosford and North Wyong, NSW.

As an Automotive Technician/Mechanic you will be responsible for the diagnoses, servicing and repair of vehicles. You will carry out this responsibility and accomplish targets through proper utilisation of technical skills.

The Technician will:

* Conduct a complete range of motor vehicle diagnoses and fault finding in accordance with the Australian Industry Standards and Practice
* Identify mechanical issues, and understands the repair method to conduct and resolve the issue
* Complete general servicing and maintenance tasks.
* Apply knowledge and skills to make repairs and undertake services to benchmark industry standards and to company expectations on quality and cost-effectiveness
* Maintain workshop tools and equipment, including hoists and wheel-balancing equipment
* Read and interpret fault reports, maintenance and inspections forms
* Fill out and maintain job cards as supplied
* Assist new and existing apprentices help further their skills and knowledge and provide supervision
* Regularly complete training to further develop professional knowledge and skills
* Adhere to all Workplace Health and Safety obligations in accordance with the laws
* Road test vehicles to identify performance related concerns as well as verifying repairs

Skills & Experience:

* Certificate III in Light or Heavy Engine Mechanics or equivalent (desirable)
* Hold a Tradesperson licence (desirable)
* Master technician qualification will be highly regarded
* Prior dealership or manufacturer specific experience will be highly regarded
* Valid NSW Class C driver’s license - Manual and Automatic (desirable)

Duties & Responsibilities

* Reporting to the Service Manager
* Perform quality servicing maintenance and repairs of vehicles
* Identifying and repairing technical issues
* Identifying additional work as required
* Completing quality and timely work to meet Customer needs as per Repair Order instructions
* Conducting quality checks on all work
* Carry out repair work and maintenance as per dealership requirements
* Liaising with parts department where necessary with parts ordering
* Maintaining a sound knowledge of products
* Ensure RO's are completed in a timely manner

Qualifications & Requirements

* Formal trade qualifications
* At least 2 years of relevant experience
* Excellent diagnostic skills
* Sound communications skills; both written and verbal
* Possess a “can-do” attitude
* Hard working, reliable, and professional
* Experience working with European vehicles is highly desirable, however, training will be provided to the right candidate

Salary

The salary range is from $70,000 to $80,000 commensurate to experience, qualifications, and skills -this is base salary. Automotive Technicians can also earn up to 2,000 per month for performance bonus. Sponsorship will be considered for quality candidates.
