You will be educated to a minimum of NEBOSH General Certificate with a couple of years' experience OR have a few years' experience and looking to complete your NEBOSH Certification.

Key Responsibilities:

· Monitor compliance of company policy and procedures
· Investigate accidents / incidents thoroughly and report on findings
· Conduct root cause analysis and identify remedial actions
· Generating and reviewing Risk Assessment & Systems of Work
· Collate statistical information
· Take the lead in small-scale projects
· Manage contractors (approvals, authorisation & permits)
· Participate in delivery of induction materials
· Work alongside an already established supervisory team
· Basic facilities management
· Liaise with Group Health & Safety Manager as required

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and skill set:

· NEBOSH General Certificate or similar preferred
· IOSH membership preferred
· Full driving licence
· Proven track record in an advisory capacity
· Experience in Construction, O&G, Manufacturing or other high-risk environments would be a benefit - but not essential.

Responsibilities:
* Resource and Budget Planning: Provide regular progress reports to the Programme/Project Board. This will involve budget management and reporting at the appropriate level of delegation.
* Project Development and Monitoring: Develop plans and monitor progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective actions as appropriate. Initiate extra activities where gaps in the project are identified. Ensure the management of project controls (risk, issue, and dependencies).
* Quality and Timeliness: Ensure new objectives, products, or services from the project are of the appropriate level of quality, on time, and within budget in accordance with the Project Plan.
* Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:
* Proven experience in project coordination or management.
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Project Management Certificate PRINCE2
* Knowledge of sustainability and environmental protection practices is a plus.

Your new company

A well known plant hire company, based in Glasgow City Centre, is working with Hays to find a candidate who will join them as a Credit Controller. This individual will join the team on a permanent contract. The position is office based with the hours of work being Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm with flexible timings. On-site parking is available with great public transport links.

Your new role

In your new role, you will be responsible for carrying out the following duties; drive Credit Control involvement in new account-set up and monitor early implementation, identify process improvement potential for existing clients, proactively manage customer payments and maintain accurate financial records, allocation of receipts on system and to resolve disputed accounts, to ensure all customer receipts are made in accordance with payment terms and prepare and distribute month end reports set up new customer accounts to establish good working relationships with all customers.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you must have had previous experience in a similar position with the ability to come in and hit the ground running. You must also have the ability to communicate clearly with others in both written and verbal formats. The correct individual must also have good attention to detail as this will be required regularly.
