The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical expertise and sales, working closely with architects, contractors, and clients to understand their requirements and offer innovative aluminium and glass products that meet structural and aesthetic needs. This role involves technical consulting, sales negotiations, and project support to enhance customer satisfaction and achieve revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Sales and SupportEngage with clients to understand their technical requirements and specifications for aluminium and glass projects.
Recommend suitable products and solutions, providing technical guidance to support client decisions.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations for potential clients and project stakeholders.
- Client Relationship ManagementDevelop and maintain strong relationships with architects, contractors, engineers, and other key stakeholders.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, handling complaints, and ensuring exceptional service.
Maintain regular follow-ups with clients post-purchase to ensure product satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
- Technical Proposal and Quotation PreparationPrepare accurate and competitive quotations and proposals, detailing technical specifications and pricing for clients.
Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness of proposed solutions.
Negotiate terms and pricing with clients to secure sales agreements and contracts.
- Product Knowledge and TrainingMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, advancements in aluminium and glass technologies, and competitor products.
Conduct product training sessions and technical workshops for clients, staff, and partners to educate them on our solutions.
Provide insights and feedback to the product development team based on market and client feedback.
- Project Coordination and After-Sales SupportCoordinate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure projects meet timelines, quality standards, and client specifications.
Provide post-sale technical support, troubleshooting issues related to installation or product performance.
Assist clients with technical documentation, warranty claims, and other post-sales service requirements.
- Market Analysis and Strategy DevelopmentConduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and assess client needs and competition.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for expanding the company’s market presence.
Contribute to sales forecasting, budget planning, and achievement of sales targets.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field) or a relevant technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably within the aluminium and glass industry or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of aluminium and glass applications in construction, including curtain walls, facades, windows, and doors.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated experience in sales negotiation, proposal development, and relationship management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical clients.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to offer creative and effective technical solutions to meet client requirements.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CAD software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
