We are currently seeking an interim Customer Service Representative to work with our client, Elida Beauty, renowned for brands such as TIGI, VO5, Toni & Guy, and Brylcreem, and become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.

The position is based at their Milton Keynes Distribution Centre, immediately adjacent to J13 M1 motorway. This is a full-time temporary role to run for 6 months, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Your Role

The UKI ANZ region is ~€120m in size consisting of a directly managed business in the UK and distributor partners in Ireland and ANZ. You will be working as part of an experienced Financial Accounting Team. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of the accounts, by carrying out the monthly/quarterly/annual cycle with robust control processes. You will also get involved in various projects as well as audit.

You will be required to be flexible including working overtime - mornings / events and weekends, sometimes at short notice in order to meet the needs of the business.

About the Role

Porter / drivers are part of the central team who work across the university campus, carrying out portering and manual handling tasks, including setting up meeting rooms and event spaces, moving heavy furniture / goods and driving duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and clean meeting rooms, lecture theatres and other venues as required as part of the setting up process - including setting up marquees and gazebos
• Deliver goods / print / stationery / equipment on campus and to regional centres / off-site venues
• Collect and dispose of refuse including, confidential wastepaper and, on occasions, hazardous waste
• Deliver and set up office furniture around campus and to regional centres / off-site locations
• Load and unload vehicles, either manually or using a forklift truck (where trained)
• Drive university cars, vans and lorries (up to 3.5 tonne) as required
• Carry out routine vehicle checks and reports faults to the Transport and Portering Manager
• Drive vehicles to and from vehicle dealerships for maintenance / repairs
• Participate in the porter / driver shift rota to allow duties to be carried out during university core ours
• Any similar or related duties required by management

Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Full UK driving licence (category B)

Desirable:

• Trained in lifting and manual handling
• Driver CPC qualification
• Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Knowledge of a variety of IT software and devices

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring high quality customer service to candidates and hiring managers.
• Placing adverts and liaising with agencies as directed.
• Receiving, acknowledging and recording applications.
• Preparing shortlisting and interview packs using appropriate online systems.
• Managing interview and assessment logistics including arranging dates with panel members, booking rooms, organising equipment.
• Preparing interview schedules and invitations ensuring candidates are fully informed of what is required.
• Administering the interview and assessment process e.g. meeting candidates, checking Right to Work documentation, overseeing selection tasks.
• Carrying out all pre-employment checks and producing offer letters for successful candidates.
• Liaising with candidates and hiring managers throughout the process updating on any delays and advising candidates of the outcome of their application at every stage.

Skills and Experience

• Experience of working in a busy, customer focused, office environment.
• Excellent IT skills to include the full range of Microsoft Office Packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and proven ability to learn new systems.
• Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive matters.
• Experience of recruitment administration (desirable).
