Role - Night Senior Care assistant
Location - Chorley, Lancashire
Contract - Permanent
Hours - Full Time 8pm-8am on 2 week rolling rota

Job Role:
As a Senior Care assistant you will be responsible to work closely with Family's, Care assistant and support management with day to day duties.

Senior Care assistant are required to work with Vulnerable older adults who may have dementia or other health needs.

Ensuring high quality care provided to the residents and supporting the care assistant.

Take responsibilities in mentorship, inductions, training of staff and acting as a role model.

Ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, desire to want to be in a responsible role or eager to step up in to a senior role and work with likeminded individuals.

Pay: £26,465- £30201k
About the Role:

Position: Senior support Worker
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Contract: Permanent full time hours
Preference: NVQ Level 3 and Car driver
Duration: Permanent
Responsibilities:
To supervise and lead staff teams providing day to day support to service users,
Assisting the registered manager in general care/healthcare administration matters within the service

These will include:involvement with individual care plans

involvement with individual health action plans
risk assessments
being part of an 'oncall’ rota for the service
dealing with any complaints in line with policy and procedure in the absence of the Manager/Deputy, taking details and referring upwards when required

Requirements:

driving license and access to a car is preferred but not essential
Must have some experience of stepping in as senior support worker or worked at senior level
Hourly rate is based on NVQ 2 or 3
Must be flexible to work on flexible rolling rota every 2 week
Work every other weekend
