I am currently on the lookout for an Electrical Project Engineer to join a Tier 1 Contract near the Poole area. This will be working within a strong M&E Team on a £50million package of works. Works will contribute to a new extension and upgrade works to an existing water facility.

Role: Electrical Project Engineer

Start Date: January 2024

Location: Poole, Dorset

Rate: £400 - £450 per day, dependent on experience

Duties of an Electrical Project Engineer:

• Comment, review and evaluate subcontractor tender returns
• Be the main point of contact for managing the interfaces and integration of the Electrical and ICA design
• Ensure all subcontractors designs of engineering meet the required standards
• Work closely with the construction team to ensure you are able to develop practical and safe solutions through the whole design stage, into construction and beyond
• Technical and commercial negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors
• Follow through subcontractor packages to site delivery and potentially installs
• Be able to specify equipment requirements and standards
• Ensure that HSE, company, legislative, regulatory and end client standards are maintained throughout the whole delivery programme

• Experience working with 11kV distribution systems
• Knowledge of Reg30/ WRAS preferable
