Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• To carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Fire & Security Systems.

• Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.

• To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the Fire & Security Systems.

The knowledge, skills, qualifications and experience relevant to the position are:

Essential

• Fire & Security Apprenticeship (or recognised equivalent)
• Health and Safety Training
• GCSE (or 'O' Level equivalent) passes in Maths and English or recognised equivalent
• Industry experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis, rectification and preventative tasks

• The candidate must be fully experienced in fire alarms and have the certification to evidence this

• Must have experience in IP and analogue CCTV
• Must be IPAF trained and have a valid Chapter 8 ECS card

Are you and experienced Technical Project Manager looking for a move? Randstad CPE is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their Team on a permanent basis in the Glasgow area.

This role will be responsible for managing and supporting the timely delivery engineering project works across a number of contracts in Scotland as well as general technical support. This will include the planning and delivery of elements of the annual life cycle replacement programme, capital works up to agreed value, provide interface with the SPVs and the Boards and supporting the Hard FM contract leads in all aspects of this activity.

Main Accountabilities:

• Project management of individual life cycle replacement schemes, minor new works, and capital works, to include co ordination, programming, and financial control to stringent requirements of both timescales and costs.
• The preparation of tender documentation and evaluation of tender returns for Life Cycle, Minor New Works, and capital works
• Provide reports detailing the asset condition and any work necessary to maintain 4 sites at the appropriate designated maintenance standard.
• Carry out environmental and estates condition audits to identify asset conditions and future maintenance requirements
• To assist in the formulation of forward lifecycle replacement plans detailing the prioritisation of works and estimated costs on a rolling programme
• Commissioning and management of project consultants, architects, and consulting engineers to form seamless professional multi-disciplinary teams
• Minimise disruption to the clinical continuity and mitigate / control project specific risks from unavailability and service performance deductions
• Ensure correct implementation and compliance with all statutory requirements and regulations covering all aspects of building services project work
• Carry out Authorised/Responsible person duties appropriate to discipline including but not limited to temporary Works Co-ordinator and Working at Height
• Technical and managerial support in the delivery of the capital works programme pre and post design evaluation, on site supervision of elements of the capital schemes
• Management of specialist sub-contractors to ensure compliance, competency, quality of work and value for money.

What you'll need to do the role:

• Qualified in a relevant technical discipline leading to a professional qualification or equivalent knowledge, skill, and experience
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory capacity in mechanical or electrical engineering or project management
• Experience and knowledge of building services and M&E design requirements
• Computer literate, particularly in the use of project and fiscal management software tools.
• Flexible to travel across four (4) sites based in the central and south of Scotland
• Hold a full UK valid driving licence

My client, an ambitious and exciting company leading the innovation for resource recovery and recycling, transforming waste and plastic for a climate positive future, is looking for an Engineering Planner to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

We are currently looking to add to the engineering team. Ideally looking for someone with:

• Experience of Holistech web system or similar CMMS and Primavera P6.
• An understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling, spares materials management, asset management tools and techniques.
• Familiar with Plant engineering equipment and terminologies.
• Experience in a planning or scheduling role in a process industry or power plant.
• Extensive experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management systems.
• Significant experience in planning and scheduling work
• Proficient with the MS Office suite of applications.
• Experience in working with Safe
• Systems of Work (PTW), Training will be given.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the scheduling of all site planned and unplanned maintenance activities in accordance of the Work Management Procedure to ensure safe and efficient operation of the Plant.
• Ensure maintenance plans and targets are achievable.
• Work alongside other functions as necessary, assisting with supervision of contractors.
• Conduct plant inspections and area safety inspections.
• Provide support to the Engineering staff to ensure that all reporting within the CMMS is effective and followed through to completion promptly.
• Be a point of contact for the site on the use of CMMS system.
• Manage the work order backlog in the CMMS and work with operations and engineering to prioritise and maintain an acceptable level of backlog.
• Lead weekly planning process and meetings, issuing an agreed maintenance plan for the upcoming weeks.
• Work as part of a team, striving for continual improvement in minimising environmental Health & Safety risk at the plant.
