The Role:
This is senior role with accountability for the delivery of one of the nuclear infrastructure regeneration projects, value in excess of £100M, safely to quality, cost, and time or part of the programme with significantly higher complexity and value. This role provides opportunity for the right candidate to progress to next level and take responsibility for part of the programme reporting directly to Head of Regeneration Programme. In this leadership role you will be responsible for leading, managing and developing multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and partners as well as internal and external stakeholders. The project entails customer requirements capture, optimum option selection, engineered solution development, construction, commissioning, and safety case development in support of construction of the highly complex and novel nuclear manufacture facility on nuclear license site.
* You will lead integration across all workstreams and organisational boundaries to deliver project/programme objectives.
* Lead project/programme including initial set up, recruitment, developing and evaluating team performance where appropriate.
* Monitor, control and manage the overall project performance to address deviations from plan in line with company standard processes.
* Influencing and management of key internal and external project/programme stakeholders.
* Identification, development, and implementation of Project Management processes / tools where appropriate.
* Ability to make decisions based on limited information.
* Promotion of the culture and nuclear professionalism of project/programme management throughout the business.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
* Qualified to at least degree level or equivalent industry experience.
* Member of a professional body and working towards ChPP (Chartered Project Professional) qualification or equivalent.
* You have experience in all stages of a project lifecycle and has been responsible for the delivery in accordance with gated governance process.
* You have strong planning and organizing skills to manage short-, medium- and long-term activities and deliverables.
* You have a good understanding of the estimating and budgeting process.
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with senior management.
* You are an experienced, respected, and trusted leader, capable of leading and motivating direct and indirectly managed multi-functional team, planning, and prioritizing their work.
* You are an advocate for the business change projects, and project/programme Management improvement.
* You preferably worked as part of Client's Organization.
* You preferably have done delivery of nuclear related projects /programmes in accordance with LC conditions
* You understand safety case development process.
* You are familiar and have delivered projects in accordance with NEC contracts.
