About the Team The Team is a well-established and very experienced team and sit within the Children with Disabilities Resources services alongside the Children's Crisis Service and Children with Disabilities Outreach with strong links with all other Children with Disabilities Teams. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new Adolescent Service that is being created in Surrey. This new service will bring together a range services for young people including those who go missing, are involved in gang culture and are vulnerable to exploitation, including criminal and sexual exploitation. About the Role
As a Senior Project Officer, you will provide project management and administrative support for a multi-disciplinary team, such as scheduling meetings, minute taking, tracking actions and production of reports on the project. Integral to the role will be communication with a broad range of stakeholders both internal and external and collaborative cross-team working with colleagues across Surrey County Council (e.g. IT, HR, Communications) as required.

Working with the Project Manger, you will manage status trackers for successful delivery of the project and oversee documentation to ensure compliance with governance and reporting. About the Team

The Children with Disabilities Outreach Service is countywide and our aim is to provide a quality assured service as part of the child's care plan, with the overall mission of improving outcomes for disabled children in Surrey. We are now looking to develop our team, predominantly across the West of Surrey and have introduced this senior role to ensure we are able to meet current demand and level of complexity of referrals to our service.

As a service we have significant expertise in supporting children and young people with complex needs, including autistic spectrum conditions, behaviour that challenges, profound and multiple learning disabilities and associated complex health needs. The team is currently made up of the Team Manager, three Coordinators, three Senior Support Workers and a number of experienced Bank staff.

In this role you will be supporting children and families in their homes and in their communities, following referrals from Social Workers in the Children with Disabilities Team. The starting salary is £32,512 per annum based on a 36-hour week plus enhanced rates of pay for occasional weekends, bank holidays and sleep in duties.

We have opportunities to join our homes located across Surrey.

Surrey has both urban and rural areas and our residential workers will be expected to have a valid driving licence to drive in the UK and access to a vehicle, to support our young people to attend appointments, activities or trips as agreed. To be considered for our Senior Residential Worker role you will need to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Residential Worker) or equivalent and have some experience of direct work with children or vulnerable groups.
