Daily rate of £75-£90 per day depending on experience

The leadership team is looking to book the successful Teaching Assistant in September. To be the successful Teaching assistant you will need to be able to spot children that are falling behind or look like they are struggling. Experience in a similar role is going to be vital as you will need to assist various classes through the academic year.

Applicants need to have the following:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience working with SEND
• A Level 2 or higher
• A patient yet persistent mindset

Pre-School Assistant Needed

I have been working closely with a fantastic Nursery and Pre-School located in Selly Oak for the last 3 years, providing them with long-term staff; many of whom have gone on to work permanently at the setting.

I am currently looking for someone to join their Team at the Pre-School site from September 2024, working in the 2-year-old room. This post is full time and will involve having your own group of key children, with the possibility of leading to a permanent contract for the right person.

The Pre-School is rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted, and has a really warm and friendly feel to it. The staff are all very welcoming, down-to-earth and make you feel part of the team straight away.

The successful Assistant will need:

Secondary 1:1 SEND TA (Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant) required in South Birmingham.

TeacherActive are working with a large, well respected secondary school in South Birmingham that are looking to take on multiple 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team this term to support a student in KS3 (going into KS4). This fantastic school has been a leading way for pupil development in the area for many years and is well revered in for staff training. Applicants must have experience dealing with pupils with moderate learning difficulties such as ADHD, Autism & Asbergers and have previously worked in education for at least 6 months. The right candidate must be confident in the classroom & be able to take and act on direction from the Class Teacher.

The school caters for students of various abilities and learning difficulties. The post requires a talented SEND TA who is flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting children with educational needs to join their team of dedicated staff.

The role will include:

• Supporting KS3 & KS4 students with classroom activities
• Assisting the Teacher with classroom preparation
• Working 1:1 and in group settings with students who require additional support
• Leading group work
• Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
