Position: Teaching assistant
Location: Wem, Shropshire
Hours: 40 hours per week, term time
Salary Details: £20,408.96 per annum
You will be helping to create a safe, nurturing and caring learning environment in which children and young people can build resilience and develop their ability to self-regulate. You will support the team with the development of personalised learning activities in school, off site and through remote learning as timetabled to allow children and young people to develop their full potential. Your role will be critical within the team as you will work with the school team to support small groups or pupils on a one- to one basis helping students in classroom based as well as other activities.

Who we are:
The Mews School supports young people aged 11-18 who have suffered sexual trauma enabling them to realise their potential and through personalised support, achieve their goals. Our vision is that students will not only be supported academically but be supported to develop self-esteem, confidence, respect and consideration for others, to enable them to become effective and contributing citizens within the community.
