SEN Teaching Assistant - (Bolton) (BL1)

A teaching assistant is required to work within one of our partnership schools located in the BL1 area of Bolton. The school is a diverse community primary school of over 420 pupils and has a high percentage of pupil premium (around 50%). The role is to start in September 2024 until July 2025, with the opportunity of earning a permanent contract if all goes well with the school/child and this is what the candidate wants as well.

The role is to work with a year 2 international new arrival that has had a traumatic and difficult up bringing. The child struggles to engage in activities for a long period of time and is working at a Nursery/Reception level. This is a challenging role with the pupil showing challenging behaviours at times, however, is extremely rewarding as well.
