An exciting opportunity has arisen within our new team for an Administrator.
In July 2022, the Scottish Government announced Whole Family Wellbeing
Funding as part of its national commitment to support the implementation of
the findings of the Independent Care Review (2017-2020).
This review listened to over 5,500 voices, more than half of which were
children and young people who have experience with the care system. The
conclusion of this work was The Promise ā a clear statement of what needs
to change to support the lives and wellbeing of children, young people,
adults and families across Scotland.
This role will be front facing, with an opportunity to meet a variety of new
people with the chance to make a real difference. You will be the first point
of contact to service users, so it is essential that you are a friendly,
approachable, and organised individual to support our new team working in
our new Family Wellbeing Hubs in Peterhead and Fraserburgh.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Administrator to take the next
step to really help shape this new and exciting project within our Peterhead
and Fraserburgh Family Wellbeing Hubs. With the opportunity to influence
and shape the admin involvement within the team.
Requirements
We would consider two part time Administrators to cover these hours. On
occasion you may be asked to work unsocial hours to support weekend or
evening work.This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
