The post holder will work as a member of the Vincent Square Eating Disorders Inpatient multidisciplinary team that provides care
and treatment to patients who are working on recovery from an eating disorder addressing patients’ physical and mental health needs. Patients engage in a full treatment programme and have supported meals as part of the daily structure.


Patients are admitted for inpatient admissions to the ward where care and treatment is provided 24 hours per day, working with the team to facilitate their recovery. The post holder will be expected to work closely with the wider service, including working across the different teams; day

The post holder is responsible for participating and assisting in the delivery of care/services to patients as part of an eating disorders inpatient team, working under the direct supervision of a registered member of staff.

• Undertake basic physical monitoring e.g., vital signs, blood sugar monitoring and venepuncture for service-users.
• Undertake a range of duties which involve direct patient care, including running of therapeutic groups and offering meal support, with supervision following competency assessment.
