The East Midlands Sarcoma Service manage in excess of 150 new soft tissue sarcoma per year but also investigate hundreds of people who they are able to reassure do not have cancer.

The Clinical Specialist Nurse will support patients predominantly from referral through to diagnosis, supporting patients through an anxious time. There will be a focus on early diagnosis to achieve cancer targets and improve patient outcomes. They will provide expert advice and co-ordinate complex diagnostic pathways. As a Food Service Assistant at HMRC Nottingham NG2 2GD, You're a real people person with excellent communication skills, Mainly customer facing, You'll interact with our clients and colleagues every day, improving quality of life for all that you meet.

What you’ll do:

• To manage Coffee shop and provide support in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
• This is a dual role that would require you to also work in our Hospitality department.
• To lead shifts when assigned by line manager, taking responsibility for delivering brand standards in, but not limited to cash management.
• Opening the unit, preparing for the shift, closing the unit, orders, monitoring and delivering high standards of customer service, accepting deliveries
• To perform the role of float where required
• Train all new team members to Barista level using appropriate training material
• Take responsibility for checking the quality of the espresso by accurately measuring & recording the grind & dose
• Ensure all drinks are made and served to brand standard
• Support team throughout shift to ensure delivery of service to brand standard
• Identify any gaps in training and undertake any training as required
• To ensure all coffee equipment is in good working order and report any faults as required

What you bring:

• Positive attitude, professionalism and respect for others
• Basic food-handling skills
• No previous experience required
• Fully trained to Barista standard with full understanding of brand standards.
• Literate & numerate
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, client & staff
• Passionate , friendly and diligent
• Ability to work with a team, and on own initiative
