  • Assist in analyzing and mapping our current supply chain processes using the SCOR model framework

Summary of Role: 

This internship will support the Product Marketing Team with a technical writing focus to enhance GF product messaging assets, including and not limited to, product briefs, PR announcements, website copy, and social media posts.  The ideal candidate will have a background with interest in writing about product positioning and technical processes with an engineering focus.  The objective of this role is to assist with translating product nomenclature into a written format that GF Commercial, Communications, and Marketing teams can use in external facing assets and discussions.

Essential Responsibilities include:

• Technical copywriting
• PR support
• Website development (non-coding)
• Media support for social media and technical press

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Education – At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Marketing, Communications, Engineering or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
• Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
• Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
• Travel - Up to 10%
• Ability to work 40 hours during summer per week during the internship.

Anticipated Skill Set:

• Major of Field Study: Computer Science, PhD in Biomedical/Protein Simulations
• Familiarity with machine learning on protein structures
