A market leading distributor of Rivetnuts, Rivets and associated tools have an opportunity for a Sales person to help continue grow the business.

The role includes managing and developing existing accounts of which there is an impressive and established portfolio. Along with sourcing, identifying and establishing new accounts via phone and email you will occasionally be required to visit customers.

Work with customers to establish their requirements.
Ensure timely delivery of products and services and advise on the best solutions. Updating the current CRM system.
Assist in the development of sales along with the sales team.
General office duties.
All Training will be provided.

The ideal candidate needs to be self-motivated and have passion, drive and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative and creative way. Experience in the Fastener or Plastic industry would be a benefit but not essential.

Warehouse cover will be required during the holiday period.

Hours of work Monday to Thursday 9-5 and Friday 9-4. (1 hour lunch break)

The office is based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and will need to live within a commutable distance, as this is a in house position. Do not apply if you are looking for hybrid / remote working.

Key Responsibilities

• Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson values

• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible

• Dealing with lapsed accounts by checking in with customers

• Generating sales with new and existing customers - proactively calling customers to discuss offers and quotes

• Use our in-house systems to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey

• Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers

• Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Internal Sales - Engineering

£35,000 - £50,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

Milton Keynes - Office based.

Our client is an innovative engineering company that manufactures plant and machinery, exporting 65% of their products.

This role doesn't involve any cold calling and is all about building and maintaining excellent relationships with distributors across the globe.

If you're a dynamic Sales Specialist with the ability to work in a technical sales role, and you have a strong willingness to learn, this could be the perfect role for you!

There will be opportunity to develop within the role, and to travel internationally.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Phone and email handling, quoting prices and stock position to customers plus order processing and transport/shipping requirements,
• Preparing quotations for customers having consulted with production and the warehouse,
• Planning, Collating, and issuing Social Media feeds/company updates, such as product launches, exhibitions, and job reports through all platforms, responding and linking to distributors and users,
• Site Visits alongside managers, and service teams to gain knowledge and to learn more about machine usage/techniques and customer requirements, in short understanding the market.
• Involvement in Video link meetings with customers.
• Attend Exhibitions and support the team at both home and overseas venues.

We're looking for an individual with the following skills set: -

• Good communicator, team player and experienced using social media,
• Strong relationship building skills,
• An interest in engineering, previous experience and understanding would be helpful,
• Competent when using MS Office + in house ERP system (training provided)
• Be able to prioritise tasks under pressure,
• Self-motivated,
