This Trainee Shot Peen Operative position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. In this role the successful candidate will undergo comprehensive training to learn the skills and techniques required to operate shot peening equipment on aircraft landing gear parts. Role Responsibilities will include:

• Undergo comprehensive training to understand the principles of shot peen and grit blasting and the operation of shot peening equipment and understand technical drawings, working within EASA 145 standards.
• Assist experienced shot peen operatives in the setup and operation of shot peening machines -
• Learn to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine shot peening requirements
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of shot peening equipment
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm covering London and the South of the UK. To be considered for the role of Trainee Restoration Technician , you will have previous experience in a similar damage restoration or construction labouring position where you have worked extensive with building materials, you will have manual dexterity, pc literate and a good level of general education. You will have excellent communication skills along with empathy and customer service skills. You must be able to work away from home on a regular basis and sometimes at short notice.

We will provide a company vehicle, uniform, communication tools and all associated costs for business use. In return we are looking for consistent attendance and a wiliness to learn and develop your skills.

Training is a big part of our industry, we will put you forward for the British Pest Control Association (BPCA) exam at the earliest opportunity.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week and a call rota is in place.

Must be able to work on own initiative. No experience required as training will be given. Duties include; carrying out one-off and routine visits, investigating and identifying pests, choosing the most suitable way of controlling them and using traps, poison (including fumigation). Finding out how the pests are getting in and proofing an area to stop them returning or advising clients on how to prevent further infestation.
