We also have a supportive programme of audit and improvement for our coding teams, helping us to achieve continual high standards, the MFT coding team recently achieved level 3 DPST coding quality scores, placing it at the highest level for coding quality in the NHS.

• Undertaking topological and measured surveys of land and buildings utilising appropriate equipment and computer software including drones, 3D Printing and CAD.
• Working autonomously as well as alongside teams of Architects and the wider design Team including opportunities to support the Architectural design team

What we're looking for?

• Experience in using CAD and/or Autodesk Revit is desired, but not essential as can be trained on the job.

We are seeking three dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced Cardiac surgery/ Cardiology or Cardiac critical care nurses to join our team as trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioners (TACP). The TACP will be working in a very busy speciality and will demonstrate excellent clinical and communication skills and be able to work effectively within the multi-disciplinary team. You will demonstrate a true passion for this speciality and strive to deliver excellent care to patients throughout their journey, working closely with other members of the cardiac surgery multi-disciplinary team. The TACP will also have enthusiasm to maintain and improve their knowledge and skills and a willingness to educate and develop other health care professionals caring for cardiac surgical patients. The TACP will also play a key role in providing care to our patients and will be expected to drive standards of care and innovation and support education, research and audit.

The TACP will be supported by trained ACPs and members of the medical team during your training. You must undertake a Masters’ level qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice, which will incorporate the independent prescriber module. The successful post holders will attend university 20% of their working week and 80% clinically in the workplace during term-time. The TACP will be expected to develop across the 4 pillars of advanced practice: clinical practice, education, research and leadership/management.

The post holder will undertake a 2 year Masters programme in Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP) to enable them to enable them to work towards independent autonomous clinical practice as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. The Masters programme consists of a combination of university and work-based learning. As part of the programme, the post holder will be released for a designated period, to successfully complete their study in preparation for their future Advanced Clinical Practitioner role.

The areas for the post holder to complete work based learning in will be discussed and agreed upon successful appointment and will be related to the specific competencies required to meet the needs of the service. Successful completion of the programme and development as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner requires engagement in all aspects of the Masters programme.

The post holder will be allocated a mentor who may be a Doctor or an Advanced Practitioner. This is to ensure successful achievement of the clinical skills required to fulfil the role of Advanced Clinical Practitioner in their specified area of work and also to meet the needs of the Masters programme. Qualified practitioners will be an advanced level independent practitioner and work autonomously, using expert advanced clinical skills to diagnose, treat and discharge patients under the care of the Emergency Department.

The successful candidate will be based in the state of the art Emergency Department at Wythenshawe Hospital working between Majors, Resus, Urgent Treatment Centre for both Minor Illness and Injury, and the Children’s Emergency Unit with its own Resus room and observation area.

Advanced Clinical Practitioners will be given an educational and clinical Consultant supervisor who with the Consultant Nurse will provide guidance and feedback on a monthly basis whilst developing your portfolio, working towards credentialing and enhancing your clinical skills providing safe and appropriate patient care.

This role will be pivotal in providing clinical expertise in the delivery of the future models of care for greater Manchester.

Responsibilities

Responsibilitiesof a Traffic Management Trainee

The Traffic Management Trainee Operative sit at the heart of everything we do. We invest in you for ours and your future. Our training will teach you to:

- Install, maintain and remove temporary traffic management such as deploying cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment on low speed roads.

- Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses

- Maintenance of temporary traffic lights

The role

MFT utilises an Electronic Patient Record, to help us provide better quality and continuity of care – wherever patients are treated. A key member of this ongoing transformation, you’ll assure the trust by auditing our clinical coding team who extract diagnostic, procedural and surgical information from patient records, ensuring they are properly coded for digital records. Often working with very complex material, you’ll ensure high-quality records while adhering closely to the rules, regulations and convention of clinical coding. You’ll also work closely with clinicians and senior managers to develop coding policies and guidelines. Moving forwards you will be working with our new EPIC EPR system to provide you with more information electronically.

Skills & knowledge required

This is meticulous, analytical work that requires up-to-date knowledge of clinical coding, as well as a working knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. Having passed the National Clinical Coding Examination (ACC) , you’ll be able to audit a range of specialities to a high degree of accuracy. Along with outstanding attention to detail, you’ll have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence senior managers and clinicians. And, in a role where you’ll continue to develop your expertise by attending regular specialist workshops and refresher courses, you’ll need to be ready to continue your learning journey.
