The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.

• Identifies potential and actual problems and probable causes. Researches a variety of issues, gathers pertinent statistics or information, reports pertinent statistics or information, reports findings to higher level employee, and may recommend corrective action for aspects of a program or function.
• Monitors, reviews, and evaluates operations and interrelationships with other functions regarding workflow, work redundancy, or systemic problems and report finding to higher level employee(s).
• Verifies completeness and accuracy of controls to ensure compliance with established procedures and formats.
• Revises procedures, controls, etc., as instructed by analyst(s) or comparable positions.
• Draft memoranda, preliminary reports, and charts showing findings or recommendations.
• Assists management with labor-management issues and grievances through the preparation of reports or responses, frequently having advance knowledge of decisions rendered and actions proposed that may result in personnel actions.

This cadre provides for the advance identification and utilization of a cadre of well qualified and highly motivated employees to fill temporary non-bargaining unit management assistant positions. As a Management & Program Assistant Cadre, you will be responsible for: Following are the duties of this position at the full working level.
