About the role

Care First Reeves Street is a further education provider with the plan to be registered as a college with EHCP in the coming future, caring and supporting student from the ages of 19-25 with complex care needs and SEMH needs. My public sector client is looking for an experienced Personal Assistant / Support Worker to work alongside one of their Lead Product Managers to support them with their day-to-day work. This is a temporary assignment for about 5 months, working Monday to Friday paying £14.53 per hour, full time 37.50 hours a week. This role will be supporting remotely, but a need to travel to support or attend their offices in central Birmingham may be required.

This role is a very personal role in being able to support the manager during day to day tasks and daily planning of meetings and supporting those meetings in every way possible, you would essentially become an extension of the manager in summarising, prioritising and preparing material to use, as an example.

Principle responsibilities: Fulfilling the role of Associate/Co Worker under the supervision of a qualified nurse/clinician. Occupational Therapy Assistant Low Secure CAMHS.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Low Secure Forensic Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service at Ardenleigh Hospital for an Occupational Therapy Assistant who is passionate and highly motivated to work with young people with complex mental health and neuro development needs.

Ardenleigh CAMHS service is a nationally commissioned Tier 4 Low Secure Service, which has received recognition through the National Autism Society receiving accreditation. We have an incredible national reputation and have successfully launched our new therapeutic model of care into the service followed by a DBT approach to the service.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, creative, and imaginative individual to be able to adapt and deliver high quality skills within a well-established multidisciplinary team and to make significant difference to the lives of the young people and their families with the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

We have also launched the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme into the CAMHS service, this will be a fantastic opportunity to embed OT and its core values to continue to empower young people recognise their strengths and skills for future development.
