Role: Healthcare Assistant
Salary: £14 per hour
Location: Birmingham
Job Type: Full Time/ Part Time
Shifts on offer*: Monday to Sundays: Days 8am - 6pm. Monday to Friday: Nights 10pm - 8am. Saturday to Sunday 7pm - 7am.
*Shifts Times are set times, but Monday to Sunday flexibility on offer depending on availability.
About the Role
Sugarman Health and Wellbeing are looking for a Healthcare Assistant within the Birmingham area who can support with a variety of complex needs and more. Our Healthcare Assistant roles are considered more of a companionship role by building up key relationships and promoting independence through daily tasks for our service user within her own home and especially within the community.
Activities will include, Moving and Handling, Personal Care, but most importantly, suggesting new ideas and opportunities that serve the service users' best interests, by going above and beyond.
He is non-verbal, which you will then need to communicate with him effectively and appropriately. You will also be given the oppurtunity to build a positive relationship with the Service User and his family. We are looking for someone with a big and bubbly personality who at the same time will be responsible, accountable and on the ball.

Requirements for the Role
Here at Sugarman Health and Wellbeing, we are looking for an outgoing bubbly candidate, who can show their best assets on providing the highest quality of support.
- A minimum of 6 months of professional UK Care experience.
- Complex Care experience preferred but not a mandatory need.
- To provide the correct compliance documents including updated Right to Work and original DBS certificate.
