We are seeking a dedicated Sr. Engineer of Digital Lab System to join our team. This pivotal role supports the delivery of software solutions to enable the operation of laboratory equipment in Quality Control for our QC Labs in Madrid, Spain, and Harwell, UK. You will be actively involved in the complete lifecycle for laboratory digital solutions, including initial deployment, post-production administration and maintenance activities, change management, and system retirement.
Here’s What You’ll Do:
Your key responsibilities will be:
Coordinating activities related to the delivery of bench-top laboratory systems for QC Labs in Madrid and Harwell.
Developing and authoring System requirements, System Configuration Specification, System Administration SOP, executing test scripts following cGxP.
Providing administrative support to operate systems and instruments including role management, access management, and configuration maintenance.
Representing Digital Quality in system validation activities in conjunction with IT, Validation, and QA.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Providing second-tier support to troubleshoot operation and interface of enterprise laboratory systems.
Participating in the periodic reviews of the systems used in the QC Laboratories and supporting periodic maintenance activities.
Assisting in the evaluation of system enhancements and capabilities, implementing upgrades as required.
Onsite support will be required, with additional duties assigned from time to time.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
A bachelor’s degree in STEM or another relevant academic discipline.
Experience with lab systems, lab instruments or lab automation, implementing and maintaining laboratory systems, 3+ years of experience with MS degree, 5+years’ experience with BS degree and/or 9+ years combination of education and industry experience.
Strong proficiency in English.
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications)
A bachelor’s degree in STEM or another relevant academic discipline.
Experience authoring and reviewing computer system validation lifecycle documents.
Experience with CFR21 Part11 and Annex 11 regulations
Good understanding of digital network principles (segmentation, VLANs, firewall rules)
Solid experience with Microsoft Windows environments (client and server)
Solid experience with Microsoft Windows environments (client and server)
Good understanding of cGMP and manufacturing operations and practices.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Experience with ServiceNow and System Administration activities.
Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions.
