Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust provides a comprehensive range of Acute (mainly hospital-based) health services, serving residents of Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, and surrounding areas including Tonbridge, Sevenoaks and parts of north-east Sussex; and services, such as Oncology and Ophthalmology, across a wider area.

The Trust has three main hospital sites, the Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury, Maidstone Hospital and Fordcombe Hospital. This post will be predominantly based at Maidstone Hospital, however,the role will see the post holder frequently work at other sites within the county, depending on demand. Therefore, the post holder will not always be based at Maidstone Hospital and the ability to drive and have your own vehicle is a requirement for this role.

We require an experienced Senior IT Support engineer who will be able to make an immediate impact to the team.

Your duties will include:
• The day to day second line resolution of incidents, service requests and effecting approved changes.
• Hands on IT technical support via face to face, remote access and phone, supporting the MTW IT estate and employees.
• Configuration, deployment and maintenance of desktop PCs, laptops and tablets (iOS and Android).
• Configuration, support and maintenance of mobile and audio-visual technology.
• Updating of incident and request tickets within the Service Management tool.
• Documentation of procedures.
• Project work as required.
• Compliance with operational processes (e.g. Incident Management, Request Management, Major Incident Management).
• Network configuration as required including port patching and fault diagnosis.
• 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on shift between 8am-6pm.

• To participate in the Set-Up of new clinical trials opened at MTW Trust.

TADS is a team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists and therapy assistants that enable early discharge from hospital by providing access to therapy assessment and rehabilitation at home within 24 hours of discharge from hospital. The team is part of West Kent Home First and works in collaboration with community health, social care and voluntary agencies.

TADS operates from 8am to 6pm seven days a week. The post therefore involves joining a seven day roster with opportunity for flexible working hours and enhanced rates of pay. We have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified pharmacy technician to join our friendly and enthusiastic pharmacy team working on a rotational basis throughout the department. This will be a Band 4 to 5 progression role.

This is an ideal post for an enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated technician with excellent interpersonal skills.

The role will include;
• Working in our technician led dispensary.
• Supporting the Specialist Medicines Management team within Oncology across our inpatient and day case units.
• Undertaking medicines production within our aseptic unit at the Tunbridge Wells Hospital.
• Performing final accuracy checking where accredited to do so.

You will also play a key role in the support and development of pharmacy assistants and trainee technicians.

Our core working hours are 08:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the voluntary bank holiday services.

You will be a professionally qualified Pharmacy Technician holding either the BTEC or NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Services; and registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and be a qualified Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT).
