The Role:

In the role of a Service Delivery Manager, you will be in control of the SEN Transport and Social Care Transport Operation, including a team of 7 officers and a Principal officer. The role reports directly to the Head of Passenger Transport and Fleet
As a Service Delivery Manager, you will work on schedules and processes to ensure service users safe and efficient carriage as well as liaising with contractors, service users, parents and carers, schools, daycentres and parent forums regarding service delivery
Other management responsibilities can include ensuring all controls are in place regarding safe transport such as risk assessments and relevant equipment such as harnesses and child seats in use if appropriate along with undertaking investigatory or disciplinary hearings and grievances
As a member of the SEN and Social Care Transport team, you must comply with current legislation and policies; ensuring staff and contractors meet required safeguarding and DBS requirements as well as monitoring and updating KPIs and financial information
The Service Delivery Manager will work closely with stakeholders, including other departments, Parent & Carer forums, Transformation team and respond to complaints, appeals, freedom of information or SAR requests related to the department and will ensure invoices and spend is accurately controlled and reported

About the role

You will ensure the safe and efficient operation of both our Prep & Pasta Production facilities. Inspiring, leading and developing the team to achieve optimum output to the highest quality, thereby delighting our customers and maximising sales opportunities.

What you will do:

Health and Safety, Food Safety and Product Quality

• Adhere to GMP and BRCGS standards at all times.

What you will need:

To assist in the management of scheduling ward 3B for a smoother pathway for all patients. Responsible for the direct supervision of all the admin staff including, monitoring of work, development and support of staff, handling of day-day personal issues, re-allocation of duties to cover periods of absence and escalating to management team if appropriate. Responsible for recording staff punctuality, attendance, sickness, and authorization of annual leave via E-Roster Liaise with colleagues within the CBU to ensure that supervisory support is available to staff at all times of the working day. Newton Ward currently supports all wards across the Sefton, Liverpool and Kirkby footprint and of recent now provides psychiatric intensive care services to the whole of the Mental Health Division.

Newton Ward is 12 bedded mixed ward based at Clock View Hospital that provides short-term intensive assessment, treatment, and support to service users, who are experiencing a mental health crisis, and often present with a variety of complex mental health needs.

To maximise service user recovery, the team works in a trauma informed way. Our aim is to work in the least restrictive way as possible whilst maintaining patient safety.

Upon joining our team, we will ensure that you undergo both mandatory and bespoke training, to fully equip you with the skills required to work within our psychiatric intensive care environment.
