You will: Line-manage geographically dispersed senior and specialist teams within the Directorate and deputise for Chief Cloud Officer when required. Have responsibility for long term workforce planning, including succession, development and training of staff, to support the long term technical and knowledge-based objectives of the organization within the continuous improvement agenda. Support the Operations Directorate to work with openness and transparency, developing effective strategic partnerships, networks, and forums to enable successful collaborative working ensuring that we advance our business objectives. Work in partnership with a range of stakeholders which is essential to ensuring we understand, listen, and respond to needs. We work in collaboration with health boards and trusts, public bodies, Welsh Government, social care and community services, academia, industry, and the public. Work closely with other teams, directorates and the wider NHS family to provide technical guidance and deliver effective solutions. There will be four key components to this role Driving the provision ofexcellent operationalservice to DHCW staff,customers andstakeholders Leadingthe DHCWEnterprise Service Managementpractice, supporting theproduct-centricoperating model andDevOps practice Driving the adoption ofintegrated servicemanagement tooling,workflows andprocesses, with a focuson efficiency andautomation Improvingenterpriseservice delivery qualitywhile integrating andimproving thesuccessfulimplementation ofchanges across DHCW This role will work closely with the AD of Digital Delivery to combine Developing the Digital Service Management vision, strategy and roadmap (guided by IT strategy and architecture roadmaps) and in line with the Product Model Organisation transformation Developing and embedding a culture and practice of transformational change; change management, continual improvement, and benefits realisation across DHCW Developing and communicating a clear vision for the application of technology across the organisation and the key role it must play in delivering transformational change, improving service performance and patient safety As a member of the Operations Directorate Senior Leadership Team, contribute to a continuous review of the services delivered by the Directorate and ensure that anticipated service benefits are tracked and realised and support the Boards Transformational Change Programmes

The main responsibilities of the role are: Planning and designing digital activities within the AHPs to inform IMTP planning and delivery in relation to digital transformation across Wales Improvement and monitoring of digital improvement and transformation activities To create strong collaborative partnerships across Wales to deliver collective ambitions To provide professional and strategic leadership in collaboration with our partners across Wales To use clinical expertise and strategic senior leadership experience to advise on devising, developing and implementing appropriate information sharing systems Contributing to the development of strategy, implementation of standards and the development of a career framework for AHPs/HCS specialising in informatics.
