As an Application Designer specializing in SAP for Utilities Energy Data Management Device Management, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing solutions for energy data management and device management in utility environments. You will work closely with the development team to ensure robust performance, troubleshoot system issues, and address both team-specific and cross-functional challenges. This role requires a high level of expertise in SAP for Utilities, as well as strong application design, requirements analysis, and requirements definition skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Develop Solutions: Lead the design and development of SAP for Utilities Energy Data Management (EDM) Device Management solutions tailored for energy and utility projects.

Collaborate for Performance Optimization: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance, address immediate team issues, and provide scalable solutions for broader organizational challenges.

System Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct comprehensive system testing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to optimize the effectiveness of EDM and device management solutions.

Project Requirements Analysis: Analyze and interpret project needs to develop customized solutions that align with their specific energy data management and device management requirements within the SAP for Utilities framework.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of application designs, requirements, and solution implementation processes to support knowledge sharing and project continuity.

Qualifications:

Master Proficiency: Extensive experience and mastery in SAP for Utilities Energy Data Management Device Management.

Application Design Expertise: Expert proficiency in designing applications within the SAP for Utilities environment, specifically in EDM and Device Management.

Requirements Analysis and Definition: Advanced skills in analyzing and defining complex requirements, translating project needs into technical specifications and robust application designs.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of the utilities sector, energy data management practices and device management concepts.

Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive in identifying potential issues and providing innovative, effective solutions to both team and cross-functional challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Certification in SAP for Utilities or a relevant SAP module.
• Prior experience in the utilities sector, particularly in energy data management and device management projects.

This is a 4 day event assignment attached to a Community Club in the West. Location: Bukit Batok area

Duration: 12 December 2024 (Thursday) to 15 December 2024 (Sunday)

The SEA & India Head reports to the Head of Supply Chain International, and manages Pharma and Vaccines Global Business Units, and leads cross Supply Chain activities for the region to ensure deliveries of products and services to support the business performance and to ensure the best possible forecasting and supply.

Main responsibilities:

• Define and drive the Supply Chain strategy to support top and bottom-line growth ambition of Commercial Operations of the markets in scope
• Represent the affiliate as the key Supply Chain stakeholder, both internally and externally to the company, acting as the primary contact for that country in the regional and global Supply Chain organization
• Lead the Supply Chain department transformation: Continuously review and recommend changes in the Supply Chain procedures and working practices; Contribute to the company’s cost optimization through project generation and implementation; Build a truly customer-centric organization
• Optimize cross-functional support needs in the local organization, ensuring effective communication between direct reports and with other teams serviced or impacted by the Supply Chain function, in particular Quality Operations, Sales & Marketing, Regulatory Affairs and Finance

Inventory Management

• Manage, control and optimize local inventory levels
• Review Inventory holding & take actions for stock optimization to the achieve local / regional KPIs

Cost Management

• Define adequate action plans to optimize distribution costs
• Ensure the control of expenditures and track performance versus approved budget

Demand Planning and Supply

• To manage a demand plan for importation that will ensure on-time availability of products and to lower potential impact of Out Of Stock
• Liaise with Sales & Marketing and Finance to ensure an effective rolling-forecast process is in place
• Lead the trans-functional S&OP and IBP process, bringing anticipation/long term visibility & one single set of data
• Reduce level of destruction while improving forecast accuracy
• Support key launches and ensure 100% In Time Launches
• Ensure local coordination on all Sanofi Group (internal) and third-party (external) sourcing issues

Customers Focus

• Knowing who are our customers, not just traditional buyers or prescribers, but all stakeholders and their influencers
• Lead the Supply Chain customer engagement road map

Prioritize cross collaboration across departments

• Collaboration with marketing for demand planning, new launches, promotions
• Collaboration with Regulatory and Quality on artworks, new packs, etc
• Ensure reliable information to Health Authorities and Public Affairs when applicable
• To manage the Distributor KPIs
• Provide logistical expertise within the local organization, ensuring complete adherence to local legislation and implementation of Sanofi policies and procedures
• Provide to finance organization the relevant data (obsolescence risk, sales impact due to Out Of Stock, forecast numbers and gaps identification etc…)
• Act as a business partner in identifying the risks and opportunities of consolidated forecasts

About You:

• Degree in Business/Logistic/Engineering/Management
• Minimum 5-7 years operational experience and success in Supply Chain operations (purchasing, materials management, logistics, customer services, S&OP)
• Experience in a multi-national environment in Supply Chain
• Proven ability to support the business and handle organizational and people-management topics
• Computer literate (Word/Excel/Analytical tools); knowledge / exposure to SAP and PowerBI
• Demonstrates capacity to understand key business issues which impact on Supply Chain activities and the role and impact of Supply Chain on commercial operations
• Soft skills: Effective communication, People Leadership, Strong negotiation and Stakeholder engagement skills
