The Nursing Informatics Coordinator is directly responsible to the AMCD/Patient Care Services for the coordination of information, education, training, and technical support related to electronic health record nursing modules and other clinical information systems utilized by Patient Care Services including BCMA, CareVue, Omnicell, etc.

The incumbent collaboratively interacts with IM personnel, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, and LRC in order to provide comprehensive and expert nursing knowledge and information to this area, which will result in an interactive and collegial networking process.

Preferred Experience:

Independently performing a full range of data analysis, to include collecting, evaluating, and synthesizing of data; applies an end-to-end process to evaluate workflows, identify issues, and develop solutions based on best practice guidelines; experienced knowledge and use of national database architecture and file structure, analytical techniques, and clinical applications development techniques; acquainted with technologies that are likely to benefit healthcare delivery processes to troubleshoot functionality issues and develop solutions; and ensures the success of multidisciplinary teams to lead and manage informatics-related projects.

Our public sector client, based in York is looking to recruit, initially on an interim basis, a Highways Maintenance Coordinator to undertake a pivotal role helping deliver an effective, and efficient and reactive maintenance service for the highways within the York district.

What the role involves:

The ideal candidate will provide planning and assist management of the work and workforce of both internal and external operations, oversee the day-to-day functions of the routine and reactive maintenance works, ensuring productivity and utilisation are maximized across all operational teams. ensuring all works are in accordance with National Conditions for Permit Schemes, New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and the statutory duty requirements of the Traffic Management Act 2004.


What we need from you:

Strong programming or scheduling and organisational skills, coupled with experience of databases applications.

Excellent working knowledge and experience of utilising excel spreadsheets, with the ability to learn new specialist software (our client uses Causeway ALLOY Asset Management Software, but training will be given).

A knowledge of Highways Streetwork’s activities and permitting (desirable but not essential for the right candidate, training can be provided)

Working Knowledge of New Roads and Streetwork’s Act 1991 (NRSWA). (again desirable but not essential for the right candidate, training can be provided)

Previous experience in managing booking systems would be advantageous.

Knowledge of the area would be beneficial.

A technical bias would be advantageous.

Working knowledge of highways maintenance activities, traffic management and incident management would be beneficial.

Role Overview:

As an Account Manager and Controller at our company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing both the financial aspects and the supply chain management of our vegetable supply business. This position requires flexibility to work during public holidays and occasional night shifts to ensure smooth operations, particularly when ordering vegetables from overseas suppliers. You will be responsible for managing sales operations, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Financial Management and Control:

1. Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

2. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

3. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.

4. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

5. Coordinate and manage audits, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Supply Chain Management:

6. Coordinate with overseas suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of vegetables.

7. Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to meet demand.

8. Optimize logistics and distribution processes to minimize lead times and reduce costs.

9. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure efficient handling and storage of vegetables.

Sales Management:

10. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

11. Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with wet markets and restaurants.

12. Monitor sales performance and analyze market trends to adjust strategies as needed.

13. Provide sales forecasts and insights to support inventory planning and procurement decisions.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

14. Lead a team of sales representatives and administrative staff, providing guidance and support.

15. Delegate tasks and set performance targets, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

16. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.

17. Coordinate cross-functional efforts with other departments, such as operations and marketing, to achieve common goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in financial management, supply chain management, and sales, preferably in the agriculture or food industry.

• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Compile and consolidate subsidiaries’ monthly performance reporting data, which include sales, costs, and expenses actual result and outlook.
• Account for variance between actual result and budget with in-depth analysis of root cause.
• Analysis and monitor regional headquarter profit status, included preparing headquarter annual budget and monthly outlook, monitoring monthly profit status and explaining the gaps.
• Support projects in the business region to prepare for annual budget and forecast, which include plan guide development, consolidation of subsidiaries’ plan data in a timely & effective manner, and ensures accuracy and timeliness are correctly managed.
• Develop monthly region performance data books and monthly submission schedules, and ensure all monthly schedules are submitted on time and historical data are correctly retained.
• Leverage Business Intelligence and dashboard tools to provide visibility of business performance, and develop monthly performance reports using the tools.
  Identify trends, advise companies and recommend actions to finance managers based on sound analysis.
• Ad hoc projects based on management requests and operation needs.
  
  Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years' experience, includes management accounting related experience in regional headquarters.
• Finance and performance management knowledge, understanding companies and regional finance operations.
• Degree in Finance / Accountancy , Business, Economics or other relevant field
  Excellent analytical skills to process voluminous data, interpret trends, establish high-quality insights and business implications.
• Able to work well both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  Strong commercial sense, with keen eye for details and hands-on approach.
  Interest in understanding operational processes to improve quality of analysis. Willing to challenge the current process to make improvement.
